Sony Alpha A6000 with E PZ 16-50mm Lens is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 765.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great versalite little camera I bought this camera several months ago. Traveled around the world and have the camera with me most of the time. I am using mostly adapted old manual lenses. For the price - it delivers. A lot. WE have the flexibility to use it with almost any old manual lens. I am impressed, happy and will continue to use it as a back up camera (I bought Sony A7RII now) the only flaw is the my camera is not working with another flash unit. I tried several flashes, including Nissin I40 - all this flashes worked on another Sony A6000, so I guess my camera has some fault. I sent the camera for a warranty repair service a few days ago and hope it will be fixed...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small, Flexible and Powerful Beautifully small and light, but far from feeling like a toy camera. Looking at the key features - very fast autofocus, plus a range of focus options. 11fps continuous burst with AF tracking. Useful tilt screen. Mine came as a twin lens kit with a 16-50 and a 55-210 zoom. Both are excellent lenses, despite being considered "kit". The camera produces great quality images and provides me with a credible, easy carry alternative to my full-frame DSLRs. I'm not really interested in video, so for me, 1080 is perfectly adequate for any little clips that I might ever take, although I would probably look for an external mic set up. For me, this is a stills camera and a very good one at that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great camera Having read all the reviews I purchased this camera for the view finder having had nothing but trouble viewing my previous cameras screens in bright sunlight. Now I have both options and find they are both exceptional. The camera is brilliant its size is just right for traveling pops in my shoulder bag without taking up to much space and can easily be carried in a coat pocket and can do all what most if not more that can be done with an SLR. Wanted to get back to do some photography with a proper camera and from only having used it for the last few months feel to going to given no end of enjoyment for a long time. I highly recommended this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not so good as I thought it would be On receipt done a quality check and felt this product lacked the quality I was expecting, the monitor was slightly distorted and did not fit the body snugly, the control wheels were not very good they felt cheap. So after charging the battery for over 300 minutes started to enter the date and year I notice the monitor kept going blank and when I was setting the date and time also when handling the camera, also if I turned the camera from horizontal to vertical the monitor went blank. I had a lens coming for the camera but never got to test the camera as I returned it and decided against a replacement because this model could fail in the field.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from a6000 best cheap mirrorless camera a6000 best cheap mirrorless camera. I bought this camera 2nd hand. i was looking for a light weight, good in the dark sport type camera on a budget. the 11 fps beats the rivals. And on using at a wrestling event where light is not good and getting some really nice images. would put some up but files are just over 10 mb each. i have to say the main downside is battery life. but note all mirrorless cameras are the same so just carry more batteries. this camera came out in 2014 and it still I think beats the 2017 canon m6 for some features and the fps. for the price even new for beginners it is a very good camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game changer I have been an avid DSLR user for 20 years, I recently bought the Sony A6000 camera for use in a holiday of a lifetime to New York city with my wife and family. I did not want to carry around my large SLR and lenses. I wanted to have a quality camera with the capabilities of my DSLR to indulge my hobby for photography, but also versatile to capture those precious spontaneous moments.. The Sony A6000 has blown me a way with its capability and versatility and has ensured I have many happy memories. I have bought many camera bodies, lens etc over the years and I am now a complete convert. Well done Sony, fabulous camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sony a6000 - ilce I bought this camera a month ago and so happy I did. I am an artist , painter and used many cameras , included few DSLR. My problem was how to take fast photo of my artwork , JPEG, without manipulation and to have colors close to real. The major problem was with blue and green shade. This camera ( still learning) with great sensor and so many settings possibilities help me to achieve my goal. The strong and vivid colors from my paintings are there and can use photos right away. I will recommend it to anyone who want compact size camera with best auto focus, fast respond, high shooter speed and great accuracy in colors

Rated 2 out of 5 by from EATS BATTERIES - POOR MANUALS - GOOD RESULTS The camera produces good results and is comfortable to use. It's fast and quiet. BUT, the menu layout on the rear is confusing and unintuitive, it's too easy to alter settings unwittingly. The instruction book is a waste of paper, useless. Setting it up required a revisit to the dealer who worked it out, the instructions in the book bear little relation to the actual method. The camera is now back for a warranty repair following a failure. It also eats batteries, I can get 1000 shots out of the Canon 5DMk3, I am lucky to get 400 out of the Sony A6000 whether it's a Sony battery or a Hahnel, usually it's a lot less.
