Creating/Managing My Gift List

How do I change my event name?

  • Go to the ‘Gift Registry’ main page.
  • Click on ‘Manage Your List’.
  • Select the event that you wish to edit.
  • Update the event name within the ‘Event Details’ tab located at the top of the page.

How do I add items to my gift list?

  • Once you’ve created a gift list, browse our website for products you wish to add.
  • Click on the product itself and then click the ‘Add to Gift Registry’ button located on the right-hand side of the product page.

Why can’t I add a product to my gift list?

  • Ensure that you are signed in to your Harvey Norman account.
  • The ’Add to Gift Registry’ button will be on the right-hand side of each product page.

How do I remove items or update a status on my gift list?

  • Visit the ‘Gift Registry’ main page and click on ‘Manage Your List’.
  • Select the registry event you’d like to edit.
  • Click on the (x) button next to the product you wish to remove.

Hint: Ensure that your guests haven’t already purchased that product, to avoid confusion.

How do I invite guests / notify guests about my gift list?

  • Visit the ‘Gift Registry’ main menu and click ‘Manage Your List’.
  • Select the registry event you wish to edit. From here there are two ways you can invite guests to your gift list:
    1. Copy the unique URL - as shown on the right-hand side - and email it to your friends.
    2. Enter the email address of each guest in the ‘Add Subscriber’ box and tick the ‘Send Invite’ box.

How do I know which gifts have been bought?

·Visit the ‘Gift List’ main page and click ‘Manage Your List’. The status of each item will be listed here.

What can I put in my gift list?

You can add any product to the gift list as long as it includes the ’Add to Gift Registry’ button.

Purchasing a Gift List Item

How do I purchase items on someone’s gift list?

  • You will receive an invite to a gift list via a unique URL or email sent to your email address.
  • To access the gift list, enter the list ID, the event creator’s surname and your email address.
  • After logging in, you will be a subscriber of the event. Any online purchases of items from the gift list will automatically have their status updated to ‘Bought’.

What if I purchase the gift in store and not online?

  • If you’ve purchased a gift list item in store, you can manually update its purchase status online.
  • Go to the gift list, enter the list ID, the event creator’s surname and your email address and change the status of the item you’ve purchased to ‘Bought’.

Will my guests have to pay for delivery?

Normal delivery charges apply.

When will my gifts be delivered?

Can my guests purchase gift cards?

Yes, you can add gift cards to your registry. Please note that gift cards can only be redeemed in store.

Is gift-wrapping available?

Currently, we are unable to offer this service.

Will the price shown in the registry remain the same?

The pricing shown in the registry is based on the current online selling price at that point in time and can change depending on any active promotion or special offer.
