Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hot Water Quickly This product is one that I looked at and thought-do I really need a one-function appliance to take up kitchen real estate? I finally did buy it shortly before we left for a vacation. I drink tea and really dislike having to make my tea water by running it through a well-used coffee maker like one finds in rentals so it was so great to just plug in my Electric Kettle and have fresh pure-tasting water in just a few minutes. I use this at home daily for tea, chai or to heat water for my French Press coffee maker. I really use it much more than I thought I would. I recommend it to anyone who travels for sure but also for easy and quick hot water at home.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't buy... Initially I thought this kettle was great, and in many ways it really is. However, 5 months or so after I bought it, the lid stopped opening intermittently. This is WAY too expensive an electric kettle for the lid to stop functioning. I gave it two stars because yes, I can still fill it through the spout, but what a hassle - can't do it as quickly, etc. Initially I was hoping it was a "safety feature" and you couldn't refill the kettle right after it boiled as the steam released when cover went up could burn...but it doesn't open at all now (it was hit or miss initially). Anyway, a bummer and way too much money for this to stop working at 5 months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Red hot kettle I bought this kettle in smokin' hot red and couldn't be more pleased. Your overall satisfaction may correlate with your tolerance for beeps-- personally, I like to hear I should get back into the kitchen for my hot water if I've wandered off. For me, the variable temperature is a welcome feature, and matching water temp to different types of tea is easy, and kids can get hot cocoa that's not-too-hot. The best thing: from the very first use, no chemical taste or smell, ever. Love, love, love the design--it has a small presence on the counter, and everyone who walks into my kitchen says some variation of wow, that looks great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fail Returning it tomorrow. Not for the looks, not for how it works. But for the BEEP BEEP BEEP. Mega fail. How could this even slip through everyone working on this product?! You guys should make a study at people's homes and see if another annoying sound is what we want in our life? We already got the phones, laptops, iwatches, ipad etc. and now we want our electric water boiler to go BEEP too. Amazing. It BEEPS when I lift it up, it BEEPS when I push the buttons, it BEEPS when I put it down, it BEEPS four (!) times when it's done. AND again when I put it down for the second time. And it's not even a nice kind of beep, it's a freaking BEEP kind of beep. With that said, GOOD LUCK with your next product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable kettle I bought my kettle in Feb 2015 and have used it everyday since then and it has worked like a charm! I use it for coffee in the morning and then tea at night. I love the feature to lock the temperature for a short amount of time so you can set your water and then walk away. The top button to open the lid has worn a bit and need a little extra firm press to pop open. The beeping is a bit loud and there is no way to turn it off or down and that is really the only thing I would change. I love this kettle! I've never replaced the filter and only now has it starterd to have an effect on the taste of the water. I wish it was easier to find the replacement filter in stores or online.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!!! I bought this electric kettle to replace one from another manufacturer (they no longer make electric kettles, but theirs lasted with DAILY use for 12 years!!!). First, I love the color! I bought the red and I love the little pop of color in my kitchen. I really love the "maintain temp" feature. I can boil water for my first cup and enjoy it while knowing I can finish and pour the second cup without having to wait for the water to heat back up. I like being able to set the temp to which I want the pot to bring the water as well. I am hoping that it lasts as long as my last kettle, but only time will tell!!!

This the second kettle of this sort that we've purchased after the frist let us down by firstly not willing always to turn on when placed and finally switched off completely. As we like KichenAid stuff we bought a second one. Within half a year we are again experiencing problems with the electronics as is time by time refuses to switch on, of after using it starts warming up gain (whilst the hold function is not activated). Sometime it helps if we try a couple of time or shake the water within the kettle. Unfortunately it has been a rather disappointing experience this time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new Kettle!!! Our Breville electric kettle of 9 years finally gave up and we were in the market for a new model. I already have the Kitchenaid mixer in red so when I saw the Red Kitcheniad electric kettle I was excited and especially since it has a stainless steel interior. I was even happier when I found out that it also has temperature controls for different types of beverages I was even more excited because I am a Steeped Tea Consultant and I have different types of teas that require different steeping temperatures so this feature is fantastic. Love my new kettle!

  1. During checkout, select “Free pick up in store” and select your preferred store.
  2. After your order is placed, you will receive an “order confirmation email” with your “order confirmation number” (this is usually sent out within 2 hours).
  3. Once the store has confirmed your order and reserved the stock, you will receive an email “Ready for collection”
  4. Bring your "order confirmation number" to the store you selected for pick up, along with photo ID and the credit card you used to make the order.
  5. Speak to one of our staff and your order should be processed in minutes.
Easy returns

If you feel your product has failed a Consumer Guarantee (as defined by New Zealand Consumer Law) then don't worry you can easily return it to your local Harvey Norman store. We'll even pay for the postage if you live in an area where there is no store. Our returns policy covers any purchased item (conditions apply).
