Big Disappointment
After giving up on a 7-year-old Mac Book once it started slowing down, I bought this Apple MacBook Pro to replace it. I was excited for a reputedly strong laptop with cool new features. Unfortunately the cons outweigh the pros.
The sound has ceased working inexplicably (after less than 3 months of use). It can not handle the Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator programmes, shutting down spontaneously every few times I use them. The camera does not work when using Zoom - which is particularly frustrating in a time of high usage of the app. The only ports are a headphone jack, and two thunderbolt USB ports. Compared to my old Mac, which had a slot for an SD card, lightning cable, and HDMI port, it's a huge downgrade (not to mention blatant money-making scheme).
None of this bodes well for the future of the laptop, and I couldn't stress enough how disappointed I am to have traded a consistent, reliable model, for a sleek-looking, but ultimately terrible 'upgrade'.

Almost perfect.
Really impressive power and ever lasting battery life. My previous MacBook Pro was more than double the price and that is no where near like this. Never heard fan running and new M1 chip handles everything like a breeze. Just needed two more ports on right side as like intel MacBook pros.

Great Computer
Great computer. I love how my phone talks to my computer. Great for photos. A little on the expensive side. My last MacBook Pro lasted nearly 10 years (although was very slow in the last few years).
