Netgear D7000 Nighthawk VDSL/ADSL AC1900 Wireless Modem Router is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid Absolute rubbish, constant processor lock ups, long boot time, poor airflow. Go with *unable to mention competitors but lets say they rhyme with 'aye, Zeus'* or a basic modem-router from your ISP. Better yet, you'll have better luck plugging a potato into your DSL line and shouting at it wearing a tin foil hat. You'll feel less stupid too. I have swapped mine out for a basic lets call it a newer telephone advanced colour. Touch wood Harvey Norman grant me my money back - Netgear have granted an RMA, but I don't want another. Not after having this pile of feces decaying on my desk being as unsteady as a still born giraffe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unreliable Brought this unit, worked great for 7-8 days, then started loosing Internet, net gear told us it was our isp, got our lines tested and went back to using old modem (which works fine), tried to return it to the retailer who told me i could not return or exchange for another one even if it was the same. So after 2 weeks of sending emails back and forth to netgear support, they finally decided to ring and tell me the unit is defective and I have to pay to send it back to them and pay for freight for a replacement, which also requires track and trace for both and if the old one is lost or damaged in transit, I don't get a replacement. Go buy a different brand to save yourself this problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast Wireless, Fast ADSL We bought this one about a month ago, Wireless performance is excellent, nice and fast using all 802.11ac devices. Media server features are handy. ADSL sync's about 1MBps downstream faster than any previous unit we've had. Only thing that didn't work as expected was the airprint server feature. I was expecting to be able to plug the printer into the USB port and printing to work without having to leave other computers in the house on. In reality you need to have a windows computer switched on with the Netgear Genie app running for the printer to be available for Apple devices. We upgraded from an iiNet Budii and it hands down beats the Budii in every respect. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Power !! Does everything it says , running 2 laptops , 2 Xbox's, a smart TV , Wii u, Blu-ray player and 2 phones over the wireless no problems brilliant performance and I'm amazed with how cool it stays , the 2 USB 3.0 ports are really useful I can charge my phone and backup my stuff using them , the setup was so simple anyone should be able to easily set this weapon up , also lost of great features for people who know how to play with network's , definitely worth the extra $$ , I will get many years outa this beast

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best modem/router The netgear d7000 performs outstandingly well, exceeding my expectations. The two usb supports have suited my needs, as does the wireless range. Great for gaming as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NBN FTTN = NO internet Bought ready for the switch to fttn - Setup was a pain could not access router out of box needed factory reset. Set up for ADSL which worked but once the nbn was connected a week later it failed - Could get sync but never connected to internet. Also very slow to boot

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for NBN Was sold this item as being compatible when the NBN arrived. Worked great on ADSL2 but when we went to the NBN a week later, we found that we needed VDSL2, not just VDSL. Now using it as a range extender.
