212 BK printed less than 25 pages
This ink cartridge is terrible. I printed 2 separate documents totally less than 25 pages. the next time I turned the printer on the black in was completely empty. It costs almost a dollar a page?? That's ridiculous. Its double the price to get the XL. Not very cost effective for a teacher trying to work from home. :-( I'm disappointed. I wish I would have know. I would have purchased a different printer.

Awesome printer
This printer is awesome. I like its size fit perfectly in my small office. It is lightweight and was very easy to set up. It has a quick guide that I liked a lot because it is written in 2 languages English and French I speak both languages do I was pleased. Cartridges were very easy to install. This
Printer is multifunctional you can print, scan, copy and fax with it.
I mostly love that I can print from my phone through the voice activated assistant that is the best feature for me.
I have been using this printer for almost 2 months now and so far so good nothing that I don't like. I definitely recommend this printer especially if you like to print from you mobile like me.

Challenging
Pro: It works. In use for 2 weeks. Very low priced in comparison to other ink jet multi functions. Disappointments: Scan function is not wireless, must be USB wired to computer. Each time this printer starts up it goes thru a lengthy diagnostics / maintenance cycle and then prints out some type of report which seems to be a waste of ink. Printed
discharge tray does not hold print outs securely.
I will recommend this product for extreme budget minded. Given a choice, however, I would spend a little more. I have used HP multifunction ink jets for the past 30 years and may be a bit spoilt.

you MUST buy color ink to print in black and white
this printer WILL NOT print in only black and white if you run out of color ink. I just spoke to an Epson representative about this, and the printer is designed so it CANNOT print in black and white without color ink. AVOID this company at all costs. Use HP, Canon, Brother, or any other company. AVOID EPSON.

Nice printer but trying to order ink is almost impossible.
I guess you get what you pay for. After using the keypad on my other printers which you used the lit up screen on this one the screen is lit but you use a side screen and the arrow keys and they don’t light up.so I have to get a flashlight because there isn’t a light where it sits.

WORST PRINTER I HAVE EVER USED
I purchased this printer a few months ago. I set it up, it worked fine for about 31 days. After that I have to run a maintenance cleaning before EVERY USE. I mean, its an inconvenience, but not a big deal. Well I ended up printing about 30 pages of black and white documents, add in the 4 maintenance cleaning scans, and I had to replace the black ink cartridge. Ok, not a big deal, I just assumed the cartridge that came with the printer was bad. Then I printed 4-5 pages of color. NOW I HAVE TO REPLACE ALL OF THE COLORED INK AND IT WONT EVEN LET ME PRINT IN BLACK AND WHITE. This is a terrible product. I keep having issues. I keep having to do maintenance. For the amount of time I have to spend fixing the thing, I might as well be transferring the information to stone tablets.

So Far So Good
Purchased this for the remote office during COVID_19 (like many) So far has been performing well. Most important besides printing is scanning. One suggestion on set up in the quick guide. Put the information that scanning must be done through a hard connection (USB cable). I went through wireless set up thinking I could scan and wasted time. So far that is my only issue to date. Initially was looking for a Brother but were hard to come buy. When I found out Seiko was behind Epson name decided to go this way and hopefully it is as reliable as the many Seiko watches I have owned.

Constantly goes offline. Unreliable.
I've only had it for a month or 2 and it constantly goes offline and to get it back on the website tells me to restart my router. I don't have time to keep doing this every time I want to print. Absolutely would not recommend.

Piece of junk
Printer does not allow you to print from black ink only. When color ink runs out it forces you to go buy more ink even though you may have a full black ink cartridge and vice versa. What a piece of junk!

Great Failure
I despise this printer for the fact it runs through ink like nobody's business and when I have something important to print oh, guess one of the ink cartridges our out so got to replace the whole thing. Guess you don't have a spare today. Well not to say the interface is made so bad there's no option for any other color even if you didn't care for its quality.
So overall mostly and would not recommend buying.

Voice Activated Printing!
I love this printer. The printer is a great size and doesn't take up too much space in my already crowded office. The printer prints fast and with good print quality. My kids particularly loved the voice activated printing feature! :)
Most importantly, it was super easy for people who came into the office to hook up their lap tops, phones, and ipads to print. There is a lot of traffic so this was key! This printer is incredibly user friendly.

Expensive cartridges
I bought this printer after my other one quit working. I find it hard to use the option for copying from it are difficult to use print quality is poor.
After using the cartridges it came with I purchased the XL 212 and was supposed to get approximately 300 copy’s from them if I got 100 in a months time I was lucky. Expensive and not worth the money.

It's the best printer for home office
I like EPSON workForce All-in-One Printer because it is not only having auto 2-sided printing but also having a 30-page auto document feeder. This is a mini professional coping/scaning maching as same as the coping store.
Also the WF-2850 equips the individual ink cartridges that I only replace the cartridge that runs out. It is a money saving for ink cartridge.
Overall, the WF-2850 All-In-one printer is a excellent printer for my home office. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-2850 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Runs on 2G network??
I was in the middle of setting this printer up, till a whole bunch of errors were on my computer and the printer screen. 3 hours later nothing was fixed/ resolved but a message saying my WiFi router is 5G, but the printer can only connect to 2G. Like what?? I didn’t even know that 2G still existed. So I’m returning this. Going back to the old Canon which also had problems from the start but at least it can print through my current WiFi network. All these brands suck with printers!

Disappointed
I purchased the printer on line. Included in the delivery was the setup cartridges. Having installed them I have found that they cannot be used for further printing , as a result I have a printer but cannot use it until I purchase new cartridges.
It would have been helpful for this to have been explained at the time of purchase and the option given to purchase extra cartridges.
Now I am left with no printer and days before I can obtain new cartridges.
Very frustrating

Jams after 6 months
I bought this printer about 6 months ago. Everything was running smoothly then all of a sudden it starts to jam loading paper through the feeder. I can't for the life of me figure out why it won't load the paper correctly anymore. If someone can help me fix/return for new that would be wonderful....

Best all in one printer
I recently started using the epson workforce all in one printer, I must say that I’m absolutely blown away from the time I opened the box until the time I set it up and started using it. The overall print performance is like no other printer I’ve ever used. The ink on every document is very bold and all documents are very easily read.
Bottom line if your looking for a great printer this epson printer is for you. It prints any and all very quickly, I actually love the fact that I haven’t had any issues with any paper jams, you will definitely be happy with this printer just like myself. WF-2850 Printer
The WF 2850 is a great little printer for the price. Good value. Only criticism I have is that the only paper-loading option is from the rear - no drawer for paper. Paper can and does therefore get contaminated (moisture, dust etc) and causes paper jams. Also, cannot do double-sided scans from the document feeder. Otherwise very happy with it for general usage. Prior unit was a WF 4630 which was fantastic. This printer was cheaper than repairing the old one.

User Friendly Printer
I am happy to say that this printer is a winner! I found it to be quiet and very user friendly. Print quality was good and fairly quick in comparison to other printers I've used in the past, which were noisy and clunky.
User interface was easy to read and operate. Printer is a good size- not too big and not too small. Just right for my home office. Smooth printing from start to finish.I would highly recommend this printer to anyone!

i have a pretty good foundation in tech, not an expert by any means but I usually don't have much of a problem. This printer has been one head ache after another, and if I still had the reciept I would take it back and get something more user friendly.

Great Printer for Home or Small Office!

Hi-Tech Printing!
I love this printer. With the Wi-Fi connection I can print anything off my phone with a touch of my screen. Documents, photos, anything! It was super simple to get connected and running.
Everything about this printer is easy to understand and ink is easy to find and install. It must be a good seller to still be around. I've had many printers and I like this one the best. It is reliable. I was a little concerned that this one was going to be too small. It is small in size, but it's big at getting the job done. For both amateur and advanced users.
