Rated 5 out of 5 by from We love it so far! Santa brought the Star Wars version for both of our boys (ages 11 and 8) and after seeing how much we like it, we got one for our daughter as well (age 4). They are all highly motivated to increase their activity (not that it was low to begin with), and earn coins. I would love to see Garmin provide some in-app rewards for earning coins for chores. Right now, they kids are just excited to get coins. When the novelty wears off, I expect I'll need to provide external rewards like money or something else. I'd love to see Garmin develop some in-app rewards for doing chores (new games or moves or stories). Overall, I think it is a great product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dissappointed kid. We bought it for our 10 yr olds Christmas gift. She absolutely LOVED it! And it was great for a couple months. Then the battery (that is suppose to be lifetime) stopped working. We finally got another one in and after I installed it, it worked for about a month and then stopped working correctly. It wouldn't show the time, would only show a couple things on it. I honestly don't know where it is now, most likely stuck on her shelf somewhere. She was so frustrated when it wouldn't work correctly and I couldn't get it to work or waste the time that I did before online and sending it back and forth. We will definitely go a different rout next time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great alarm settings! We bought these for our kids a few days ago and so far really enjoy them. My son has some medical complexities and needs to have multiple alarms set a day to remind him of his care and this serves that purpose perfectly. I love that I can track their sleep and activity. The feature that encourages them to be active for 60 minutes a day is also a great feature. My only complaint that keeps me from rating 5 stars is how dark the screen is. It’s hard for me to see, but with the year long battery life, I suppose that is par for the course. Oh, one last awesome feature is that it is waterproof! My kids have showered and still works perfectly. Happy with our choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For my autistic son. This watch was something I wanted to try b/c we were having a hard time getting are autistic son to go to bed/bath time, and what time to go in from playing in the yard. So I used the watch so he can’t get mad at us, it’s the watches fault. Works like a charm. Wish it had a few more options, like prompting it through my phone without having to push the button on the watch, I’m sure there is a more expensive one out there. It’s waterproof so that’s a big deal too. The point system for the game we don’t use at all. I’m sure they didn’t make this for the intention of a autistic kid. When they do I’ll be all about that one. It’s easy to use and not over complicate.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the watch. Hate the bands. My boys love trying to beat their own step records and competing with their friends and teachers at school. “How many steps do you have today?” And, of course, the video games. BUT we dislike the bands. They do NOT last at all. Bands purchased at Christmas were falling apart by the end of June/July. Unfortunately, over the summer, this resulted in one of our watches being lost in a river while camping because fell out of the band! My 10 year old was super upset. And I can’t justify buying another. All the bands we have had - 3 so far - have fallen apart in some way within 6-7 months of having them. It’s really too bad.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Name Change I am trying to change the name that is displayed on my child's fitbit but have not been able to. I originally bought one for my daughter, who then thought she had lost it, some time later purchased a new one & then her old one shows up in a handbag. So have tried everything to change the name to my other child but can not!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for my 2nd Grader Love most everything about it. A friend recommended the product to me because I needed help with transitioning my son in hid school work now that we have to do school at home. Often times he spends too much time on a subject and we loose track of time to try to accomplish all or the subjects in one day. The watch has so many things I like and he loves the look and the alarms too. What I don't understand is why it has a maximum amount of 10 alarms. This is not enough for us to schedule every transition in our day. Please update this feature. Seems silly to limit the amount of alarms.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Improved from the Original Vivofit Jr! I bought the Vivofit Jr 2 for my daughter for Christmas last year. She had the original Vivofit Jr, but lost it, so having both versions has allowed us to compare them. I like the updated feature of being able to set alarms so my daughter is now able to use her watch as her alarm clock. I do however wish that swimming was recognized and counted as activity minutes as my daughter is on a swim team and practices 3 times a week for 45 minutes and she is often disappointed that those minutes of vigorous activity do not count towards her daily activity goal.
