Garmin vivosmart 4 Large - Black Slate is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 848.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A lot for the money. I am amazed how much this little thing does and I like it a lot now that I am have been using it for while. A lot of features for the money. That said, I am fairly tech savvy but the iPhone app interface is very confusing to navigate for the beginner. It seems like there is too much focus on social media, challenges, connections, news feed and the like. I am now reasonably good at using it and finding what I want but it took a while. I can see how older folks and those that aren't too tech savvy would be lost. It has to be pretty snug to be reliable. I question some of the sleep data as it has at times registered me as sleeping when I was awake.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the heart rate and sleep data Bought the vivosmart 4 a couple of months ago and although I've barely scratched the surface of its many features I love the feedback on how well I'm sleeping and the heart rate during my workouts. I had already purchased a heart rate monitor comprised of a watch type unit that is paired with a "transmitter and band" that is worn around the chest... but you have to dampen the back of the transmitter and it tends to be hit or miss... a bit of a pain... whereas the V 4 just takes a few screen presses and I'm off and running.. well walking... literally! I would probably up the rating to 5 stars once I understand all of the features. And so it goes...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works good for just activity/sleep tracker I chose this one as I already had a smart watch that I like and didn't want another smartwatch. I went with this mainly due to the HR monitor as my smartwatch does not have that. It is fair on accuracy as I check it against actual pulse taken. I was able to set the notifications for the phone stuff to "off" as I don't need it, the screen is too small for that stuff anyway. I tried the Pulse Ox at night but as it states, using that will deplete the battery in about 4 days vs the 7 day without pulse ox, so I set it back to no pulse ox mode. All in all it seems to be good for tracking daily activity and the app has some intersting data.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like it so far I recently bought my Garmin Vivosmart 4 and using it for 3 days. It is simple to use and I prefer the smaller devices so this is just what I needed. My only complaint so far is I have it paired to an Apple 11 running IOS 13.1.3 and the watch keeps getting disconnected from my phone and the watch keeps alerting me to connect and then followed with an alert saying it is connected without me having made any adjustments. Some times I will open my Connect app and it takes several attempts to get them connected after I notice it currently isn’t connected. Overall, I love the Garmin Vivosmart 4 and hope the bugs get worked out soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good! I bought my Garmin Vivosmart 4 this past week after having purchased a couple of less expensive activity trackers on Amazon as well as the Fitbit Inspire HR. The problem with the Inspire was its total lack of accuracy tracking steps and calories with no fix in sight. I tested the cheaper ones but they were uncomfortable to wear. Their accuracy seemed to be pretty good. The Garmin seems extremely accurate, I like their app and that it links with MyFitnessPal and it is very very comfortable to wear. I also like the slim style since I have pretty small wrists. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's Promising - Nice features that need refining Really nice features and step counts and other measurements were fairly consistent with my Apple Watch S-5 - when it worked. The sleep functionality needs work. Some nights it would show little to no deep sleep and much REM and other nights it would show the opposite. All of this while my actual experience was different. The deal breaker was the difficulty that I had with it synchronizing with my iPhone X. Sometimes it would sync immediately and other times it would take hours. In the end I didn't trust the results, so I returned it. I'd rather have a device with fewer features that was consistently accurate than a many features that are inconsistent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from SATISFIED CUSTOMER I have had this device for a short time now and am very satisfied with its performance. I am interested, primarily, is oxygen (SP02) and sleep study. I use supplemental oxygen as need, thru-out my daily routine, and I sleep with it. I did testing, with the Vivosmart 4, with supplemental oxygen and without. For the sleep study I compared another device, which I trust for accuracy, which fits on my finger, with the Vivosmart 4, and found that both units are VERY similar in their results. I also tested my PS02 and pulse rate against a spirometer, the numbers were within a point of each other. I am very satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accurate and Attractive I really am impressed with the Vivosmart 4. I have extremely narrow, thin wrists, and this fits perfectly. In fact, it's the only fitness tracker I've ever tried on that actually looks good on my skinny arm. I wanted a tracker that would measure my heart rate as well as count steps, and while researching the features on various trackers, I was intrigued by the "body battery" and stress measurement features on the Garmin. I have found it to be quite accurate all around. This is the best fitness tracker wristband I've ever tried. If you're looking for a slim, lightweight, accurate tracker, this is the one!
