The Chef-sized frozen dessert maker is a fantastic attachment for creating gorgeous ice creams and sorbets. It's easy to use and comes with its own plastic, Kenlyte™ bowl for mixing, a freezer bowl, paddle and lid. It takes just 30 minutes to prepare up to one litre of ice cream, with no artificial colours or additives.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't bother. I recently bought a Kenwood stand mixer, and I love it. Then I bought a few attachments, and my enthusiasm cooled. I replaced my cheap & nasty ice-cream maker with this arguably expensive Kenwood bowl attachment. I should have saved my money. The provided paddle is fairly flimsy and fails to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl adequately: the frozen ice-cream stuck to the bowl simply pushes the flexible plastic up and continues to build. Don't bother with smaller volumes of ice-cream mix, you won't have much left to scoop out when it's done. Luckily, Kenwood has thought of a sollution, and has provided a plastic spatula that won't scratch the bowl. Unfortunately, it won't dislodge the ice-cream, either, so it's useless. But at least it comes with a splash guard, that's something, right? Yes, there is a ridged, shaped piece of plastic that loosely sits over the top of the bowl, clattering away from side to side as the machine churns, all the while allowing any ice-cream that might otherwise have splattered your kitchen to dribble out of the gap underneath the guard and down the outside of the bowl. It's a minor save. I really wish I hadn't bought this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A brilliant and simple attachment I just made my very first ice cream using this excellent ice cream maker attachment! It was so easy to assemble and use! At long last I can make ice cream without having to specifically buy already made gluten free ice cream which can be disappointingly bland in taste!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to Kenwood Accessories I have been wanting an ice-cream maker and now Kenwood has made an accessory which is easy to use, store, and makes delicious ice-cream and sorbets. Just don't forget to keep the insert in the freezer so it is ready when you are.
