Vitamix Dry Grains Container is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 683.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size for household of one or two I received my refurbished vitamix with standard 64 oz container as a gift 2 years ago. I struggled because in our household of two, I am just the one vegan and while the vitamix is an essential tool to achieve the right consistency for nut based cheeses and creams, the amount needed for just one person can't really be done in such a large container. I finally gave in and bought the smaller container, which is absolutely perfect. I actually enjoy it and use it a lot more now. Frankly, I wish I'd bought it right away, but ideally, vitamix should give customers a choice of containers at the time of purchase, rather than requiring us to buy additional containers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for smaller blending jobs. I bought my Vitamix 750 recently. It of course comes with a 64 oz container. I used it for a couple months and realized I was always blending more ingredients than I actually wanted because I was trying to fill the minimum space needed for a proper blend. I started looking at personal blenders but and even at the new Vitamix personal blenders. I wanted Vitamix quality so that ruled out all but the Vitamix personal blenders. Even those are coming with the 40 oz container. The 32 oz. allows me to do small jobs so I can makes things for myself without having an excess. It is Vitamix so I'm getting the quality I want and I'm not paying for a whole new blender.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed. I've had my Vitamix for over 10 years. We used it a lot at first, and then only sporadically. Now, we have transformed our diet using Dr. Gundry's Diet Evolution and are consuming fresh foods that have the least toxins. The dry grains container is perfect for making nut flours, breaking flax seeds, grinding coffee (I know, I used to be a fresh bean aficionado and have to worry about heated blades on the coffee bean. I'm over it, speed and accuracy work way better for me.) This container is also small enough that I can ditch my Magic Bullet - haven't used it once since getting my smaller Vitamix containers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient Size I love the 32 oz container. Easier to store, use, and clean. It is more than large enough for a big smoothie to go in the morning and it doesn't take up a giant amount of space. As a matter of fact, it fits on the base under the wall cabinets. I packed the big one away in the box. I wish the unit came with this size originally...it is far more practical. I bet a few folks would go to the trouble of buying the large size one, but I imagine most would do just fine with this size if it came that way. I find the taller container cumbersome and harder to clean, scrape and so on. Highly recommend this size. Easier all around. It is a little expensive for what it is, but the convenience is worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I have had my Vitamix for 15 years and sometimes the original container is just too big so I got this smaller one. It is much more convenient for my uses. And now the whole unit fits on my counter top! It is a perfect size for a power smoothie or my homemade single serving of natural ice cream using 1/4 cup milk, one already sliced and frozen banana and some cinnamon. Blend and you have soft serve sugar free ice cream. you can also add walnuts and/or coconut to make it like a blizzard. Works with any frozen fruit. Then I eat it right from the container with a long handled spoon.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great size for a one or two person household My husband and I use the 32 oz container almost exclusively. It is the perfect size for making one or two smoothies. The biggest negative about the 32 oz container is its clear plastic hollow handle which gets water droplets inside when it is washed and it is almost impossible to dry the inside of the handle. It is also makes the container look cheap. I would have given this container 5 stars if it had a nicer handle. I do not understand why you have to purchase the mini tamper separately from the 32 oz. container, since the mini tamper is necessary to get the full benefit. The purchase price for the 32 oz. container and additional mini tamper is expensive for what you get but it makes the Vitamix more versatile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Baking in another world Honestly! I feel like I own my own baking factory without all the industrial equipment. I don't buy wheat flour. I make my own from raw ingredients. I can choose legumes, rice or any ingredient to make my flour as rich in nutrients as I want. My children love my bread AND it's healthy for them! I would by wheat bread but my children would turn their nose up at it. Now, they brag about how well it makes grilled cheese sandwiches or French toast. Even simple sandwiches are a win in my house. This was so worth the money spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small, but powerful! Bought this for the purpose of making powdered sugar and grinding fresh coffee. I have made powdered sugar out of coconut sugar (pictured) and organic cane sugar. Both blend up beautifully. I can't tell the difference between the powdered cane sugar and store bought. Love that this makes organic powdered sugar affordable and easy! Grinds my coffee beans up perfectly with little effort. Have also made oat flour with this. Well worth it. Very satisfied with what this can do and how well it does it compared to using just the regular container. Highly recommend if you're looking to grind dry stuff.
