Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2nd one and still not working properly! I bought this (very expensive) kettle less than two years ago. Before the end of the first year the kettle would not switch off when boiled. I contacted kitchenaid and they sent me a new one. Once again the same thing is happening l. Two other things also don’t work properly. I have to press the button more than once to get the kettle to boil. And now the kid won’t open! I have contacted kitchen aid and I got an automated response saying my kettle is out of warranty. 1. My original kettle would still be in warranty (as 2 years has not finished yet) 2. I’ve had this second kettle less than a year so is definitely in warranty. Obviously the serial number on this kettle must date it as older. I would love a response from Kitchenaid!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product and service I bought this kettle last year as a replacement from the identical product that turned out being in fault. According to my husband who is quite handy in electrical stuff, the faulty part was the base that didn’t generate power to heat up lucky enough I’ve registered the product then once I managed to get in touch with the staff, soon enough they provided me a replacement that until now is working perfect. Although I have small feature bonds and they way it’s designed is not quite comfortable grip to me, but in general I love the idea of being able to preserve the temperature (hold the temperature). I think it’s great!
