Rated 1 out of 5 by from Three of the four cameras did not work. We bought the set and one camera did not work. The supplier replaced it. Within a week, three of the other cameras stopped working. We got one working. We have been unable to find a way to contact Arlo for support regarding the other two. There was an initial link offering three weeks back up service from Arlo but when we didn’t click on it straight away the link disappeared. The first camera which worked is still working and is great. Everything we wished the other cameras were. If they all worked like that it would be an excellent product. It seems our cameras are faulty. Very disappointed in this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing cameras. I purchased my Arlo cameras on the recommendation of my friend. I use them to check on my dog when I am at work. I am very happy with the cameras as they provide great peace of mind. The quality of the pictures and sound are amazing and the phone app is very easy to use. The only negative for these cameras is that the battery life can be very variable. Also not a big fan of having an expensive subscription for a service that should be standard with the product. However, in the scheme of things, it is a small price to pay for such peace of mind. Highly recommend Arlo cameras.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but inconsistent I like the product, however it appears to be inconsistent - it inexplicably misses some events. It doesn't generate events on car movements. It does however do so occasionally. While the camera generates events on people movements most of the time, it does occasionally miss a person movement. I know of at least one instance of a delivery person being missed. I checked this several times - there was no event to record the person. I'm just hoping the software keeps getting improved to fix this. It is vastly better than the Logitech camera that I previously had.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Keep going offline I have 4 Arlo Pro 4 cameras set up in a shop using a mesh Wi-Fi where none of the cameras are any further than 3m from wi-fi in an open space, no obstructions. Whenever I check the cameras at least 1 is offline (it varies which one), mostly 2 at a time are offline and sometimes even 3 are offline. Very disappointed considering the money I paid. Trying to attach a photo to show 3 offline at once but not surprising even that won't upload (yes it is within guidelines to the left). I am posting this review in the hope of a solution, not just to whinge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product The setup of the camera was easy! The experience was similar to setting up a WiFi connection or a new app. The app is SUPER easy to use. We love the notifications it pushes when motion is detected. The video quality is much greater than what you pay for here. Really great deal! Would recommend to friends for all sorts of uses: baby monitor (has sound capability), pet or nanny cam, wildlife camera- truly will work for any use!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Software Now operating for 2 months and mostly good so far. Delay to access live views can be frustrating. When someone comes to the door to drop off delivery, they’ve invariably gone before the camera connects. 2 of the four cameras are in spots where they are triggered very frequently so batteries depleted within a few weeks. Ended up investing in 2 of the solar charging panels for these which is a whole more convenient….if mor costly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Far greater quality and reliability than expected After post purchase reading a lot of negative reviews, I can easily say I haven't experienced any of the issues, which makes me wonder how much is operator error? The spotlights are very powerful and once the camera gains focus it switches from B&W to colour automatically. But the image is excellent even when you choose not to use the auto spotlight feature. Its very clever in knowing if its one of my dogs (animal) being detected so you have the option to ignore them in the settings. Whats very impressive is its auto-tracking and zooming on on the subject when it detects movement. I wasn't expecting that feature at all. Have 1080P cameras before with another brands, I highly recommend stepping up to 4K. After all you the idea of using cameras in the first place is so you can clearly identify people and see what going on, so worth the investment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Useless The Arlo pro 2 I have was the reason the I got the pro 4. But after trail period there no 7 day Rolling cloud access. This is a joke number 1. Then I put a USB drive thinking that the work around. Oh but no I cannot view the videos until I take USB out. This is joke number 2. You managed to have a loyal customer completely now no longer want to buy any of your future products. Good work Arlo.

Hi. Is this needs memory card or separate device to save the phootage? Can watch live from smath phone, when we are away?

Thanks for a great question Hami. No, the cameras don't require a memory card. You can watch live from a smart device via the My Arlo app and is not plan restricted, however recordings are not saved. An Arlo Secure Plan will allow you to save 30 days of recording in a secure cloud, and you can also download or save these to a device. More info can be found on the Arlo website. Hope this helps!

My first camera connected straight away but I can’t get me second camera synched - I have followed all of the instructions and it does everything it’s supposed to except doesn’t connect
