Rated 3 out of 5 by from As usual a good Tom Tom with newly added features As per the title. The WIFI feature makes a difference. When I bought this model I discussed the travel speed setting for this unit, as I needed this requirement for my motorhome, because of its weight, and was advised by your phone advisor that this new feature was on the above model, so I bought it.. In fact the mileage setting is on the Professional model and you didn't have any in stock, as I found out later. As I have used this new model I didn't proceed any further. Always had Tom Toms and haven't seen anything that equals them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TomTom still the best navigation device around I bought this in November it's the latest with life time world maps. It's my third TomTom and it is a real advance on earlier models. I like the map access and repository system, the wifi access and the larger screen. Just a really solid assist for navigation. Viewable, understandable and easy to use. Great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top TomTom I had this for Christmas and it is an amazing piece of equipment. I have used it all through my travels over the festive period and got to grip with its settings quite easily. Once used a couple of times the controls you set just fall into an easy pattern, even if you want to change them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from first time TomTom purchase and loving it Great product, super easy to use. I thought the screen would be too big but its actually really good. Picks ups all the speed cameras, haven't sussed out all the other things it can do yet other than finding a place, but they all look pretty good

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features This is an update on my earlier model (Go 520). You can operate it through your phone app or wifi and it is bigger with bigger printing and more street names displayed for my ageing eyes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Voices I am a new owner of a Tom Tom 6200 and wish to review the Voices feature. There are 15 voices with 3 each for NZ, Australia, USA, Ireland and the UK. You access this through the following pathway: Menu, touch screen, swipe to screen 3 to Settings then to screen 2 where the icon Voices drops down. Select Choose a voice and the up-down arrows to bring up the 15 choices. Neither the handbook nor website host this amount of information so I would go straight to the device. My default voice was Ben as I purchased the device in New Zealand. He drove me nuts because as each destination drew near, another young male piped up with the following spiel: “You have reached your destination. Grab your jandals and togs and chilly bin and get goin’. Thanks for the ride, mate.” Once, with sharp turns before the end of my journey I had to endure this tripe three times in quick succession. Lacking the sensitivity and common sense of the colour screen, which at least darkens at dusk to black and white, our cheerful post-adolescent still tells me at 11 pm to collect my picnic equipment. I resent this yobbo intrusion at any time and fortunately my search to be rid of it revealed the options of Katrina and Paul speaking with the well-enunciated neutrality one would expect. Should you take the device on an Australian holiday, you will encounter James’ touristy advice: “You have reached your destination. Windows up, grab your sunnies and don’t let the seagulls steal your chips.” Again, Ken and Karen will come to the rescue. The UK, Ireland and USA voices simply do their job with only slight accents, confining themselves to road directions. Serena (UK) and Karen (Aust) are computer voices but think normal rather than Stephen Hawking. Both state street names in addition to the general script but struggle to pronounce Maori names correctly. Kiwis can think our way through this but visitors face a challenge.
