Sony WF1000XB Wireless Noise Cancelling In-Ear Headphones is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 206.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unusable for videos Pros Excellent audio Cons Unfortunately it can't be used to watch videos as audio is out of sync by probably 1 second. This is what I can read from your website: "Due to the characteristics of wireless technologies, playback in the headset is slower than the playback of sound and music in the transmission device, so when using it to watch videos or play games, the picture and the audio may be out of sync". I'm sorry, I have seen much cheaper bluetooth headphones that work perfectly I don't like that only the left headphone can be used for phone calls

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Neckbuds They could be classed as ‘expensive’, but then, you tend to get what you pay for. These are a quality product. The neck band is very comfortable and hardly noticeable, as is the fit in the ears. They are easy to connect via Bluetooth and can also be used via a wired connection. The sound quality is excellent, and they have various really good noise cancelling settings. The app works very well and can be used to make many adjustments to the sound, the sound direction and noise cancelling settings. Battery life is very good. Overall, for me, they are well worth the cost.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great sound let down by poor in-call microphone I have been more than impressed with the sound quality and noise cancelling of my new Sony’s. The rub, however, is that I needed something for both business and pleasure. the ability if the microphones to pick up my voice when in a call is poor, and people really battle to hear me. The current solution is to remove one earpiece and hold the mic closer to my mouth, but then that is not hands-free. My Bose QC 35 delivers a much better in-call experience. The Sony’s just need an engineering design review - find a position for a dedicated call mic on the neckband and then they will be perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good sound, usability problems Worked fine for a week, then the right earpiece started dropping out frequently but irregularly, making them unlistenable. I'll have to send them back. The noise cancellation was fairly effective, and the ambient sound pass-through was useful. Both could have been better. Requiring the Music Center to ensure full volume on Android and having a separate heaphone app working with it is a very clumsy and annoying way to control the earphones. Overall - happy and satisfied for a week, then very disappointed and annoyed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unacceptable bugs, don’t buy I bought this in August 2018 and I truly regret this decision. The right-ear device is very often disconnected and this turns my experience upside down. AND the micro is that poor that people don’t hear me when I am on the phone. I make many phone calls on the go and I can NOT use my device when in the phone. Compared to my (awesome) previous Bose device, this is black and white. For EURO 200, i would at least expect from a wireless device, well, NOT to have connection issues, and to have a microphone that works! I am very disappointed in Sony

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best in-ear headset I originally bought the BOSE QC30 as I the Sony Wi 1000x was out of stock. After returning 2 sets of these, due to the microphone being to noisy for people to listen to calls, I decided to go back to Sony. The WI 1000x was almost £50 cheaper than the BOSE but more importantly worked exactly as I wanted it to. The music quality is great, and although I have heard better noise cancelling on over ear headphones it fits the purpose for these headsets. The call handling and quality is excellent and the Google Assistant feture being able to read notifications is very handy. Very comfortable to wear and seems a strong enough design. So very happy with the change of mind, I would definitely recommend these headsets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Sound & Comfort Still a Slight Glitch I have had these about two weeks, they sound great and are really comfortable and stay in ears even when doing heavy exercise. the only slight issue is the occasional drop out from the right ear piece. I did update the firmware and this improved matters a lot but did not totally Cure the issue. it does not not happen that often and it only means you get a slight gap in the music, you do not have to reconnect. Overall really good aparty from that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fundamental Launch Problems Remain Bought them a week ago and brand new out of the box they needed a firmware update! The fundamental flaw of right ear loss of sound is not mentioned in reviews, but well documented on forums. The Firmware update has not cured this. The sound quality is only average and not comparable to my cheaper wired headset.
