  • Share your Road Trips: This dashcam also lets you create short video footage of your road trip and share them on social media via the VIRB Mobile app (download required).
  • Garmin Real Vision: Thanks to the Garmin Real Vision feature, you will know precisely where you need to go when arriving at a select destination. Your navigator will switch to camera view and will point to the location with a bright arrow.
  • Smartwatch Integration: Built with convenience in mind, you can pair this wirelessly to a compatible smartwatch (sold separately). It enables you to receive and view driver alerts right on your watch. It also provides compass guidance so you can easily find your vehicle after parking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brilliant features Bought this a few weeks ago, but unfortunately if failed and would not charge. Called Garmin and they immediately arranged for a replacement, which I was able to collect from the local Harvey Norman store within a few days. This unit has great features and combines not only a GPS Navigator, but a Bluetooth handsfree for your phone, a Dash Cam as well as integrates the camera with the navigation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good for the price I've had it for a couple of weeks and am quite happy with it. Easy to setup. One thing I don't like is the pronunciation. I find that Google definitely does that better. Also, I bought the device specifically as I wanted warning about speed cameras. I was dissapointed when I found out Ihad to pay another $15 for an update for that component.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great device I brought this gps prior to going on a trip. It is perfect I can’t fault it at all! The inbuilt dashcam is a good feature, it makes me feel more secure while on the roads especially in peak and holiday times. The gps is great value for money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Garmin DriveAssist 51 LMT-S GPS Navigator The Garmin was smaller then I thought & the picture on the box was a bit misleading as well, however the unit itself is easy to operate, nice & clear details & it gives you the option to have more or less details plus many other settings to play around with, I bought it as a xmas gift so i didn't mind paying the price for it but i thought the price was a bit high & that would put me off normally. However I recommend this as a great GPS unit for your car.

Does this or any of your GPS units still come with Lifetime Maps

Thanks for your question. Yes, all Garmin GPS units come with updateable maps (they don’t use the term ‘lifetime’ maps anymore). Hope this helps with your query.

In your picture the speed is in mph can it be changed to kph

Hi this gps has a dash cam is the dash cam the same as other dash cams as in will it automatically turn on and start recording as soon as you start the car

Hi there. Thanks for your question. By default, the device immediately starts recording video when it turns on. It continues recording, overwriting the oldest, non-saved video until it turns off. Hope this helps with your query.
