Great sound, crisp treble, loud..
I purchased this about 3 weeks ago from JBL, I took out of box, build quality felt good! Linked with my phone and WOW! This speaker sounds really good! Deep bass ( rated 45 hz!!) and crisp treble, unlike the partybox 300 which I returned( muffled treble and did not appear to b that powerful for the size! The partybox 100 seems to b superior to the 300, smaller, and louder! And virtually no compression on batt! Also plays louder on ac! Also the main drivers are in stereo, even though they are close together.. can’t comment on battery life as most of the time it’s plugged in.. highly recommended! Good job JBL! This 1’s a keeper!

Bring the party everywhere with the amazing sound
Love the JBL party box 100. No practical complaints. Bass boost Level 1 is full and enhances ~45Hz real nice. Bass boost Level 2 rolls in more ~200Hz, some may like that better, but I don’t care for it as much. I wish it had a larger battery, as 2500mah is a bit lite, but still works as advertised though vol is reduce a bit. It is also advertised as 160w total power (not sure what that means) but consumes less than 60w at the outlet and usually less than 20w, so I’m not sure where 160w comes from. In spite of these technical shortcomings there is no practical implication from them. I highly recommend this speaker and 2 of them instead of the 300 would be better for the same price... Fun Portable Speaker
Did a lot of research and this is the best portable speaker to buy. Only improvement would be to make it water resistance/proof. Bass response is good, but compared to other speakers in this class, this has to be one of the best. Completely recommend this speaker for parties as it plays loud enough and this is great for Pop, EDM, and Hip Hop music.

Amazing sound at an affordable price
I've only had this for a few weeks, but so far I'm very happy with this portable sound system. I'm a children's entertainer, and my old PA / music system was dropped and no longer works. I bought this one as a replacement. It has a microphone and guitar input, which for me is perfect, as I can use my trumpet in the AUX input too. I've not tried it at parties yet (Covid-19 restrictions) but I'm using the sound system in my car, using Bluetooth from my phone. The volume is fantastic. Battery life is excellent. The flashing lights? Awesome! So, 5 stars plus.

Sound Juggernaut!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my Party Box 100 a couple of days ago. And put it through lots of sound tests covering all music. From rock, hip hop, classical, techno. It handled everything I threw at it. Pretty much took out my JBL boombox I also own. Which is no slouch at all. This Party Box just has another level from bass to highs. I love it! Battery life is also really great. I can listen all day at high volumes with the bass boosts it also has. it really is a tour de force. It also has inputs for karaoke nights. And also can plug in a guitar and use it as a amp. That also works flawlessly. Has a usb out and 2 auxiliary inputs. Pretty much everything you’ll need to get up and go. It is pretty heavy weight wise. But it’s built really solid so I don’t mind that extra weight. I highly recommend. You won’t regret the purchase. Keep the party going with the Party Box 100! Excellent speaker!!

LOVE THIS SPEAKER! MORE THAN THE BOOMBOX 1/2!
I have loved loved loved this speaker! I've used a ton of speakers and all different types and this one has definitely been one of my favorites! It does not sound as good as the boombox 1/2, because it can't hit the lows as good, but what it looses in bass and the lows, it makes up for in these spectacular lights! Really gets the party going! My only issue with it though, is it take about 20 seconds to power on and connect, and that it is not very durable. I use my speakers outside mostly, and this one I worry it scratches and get beaten up way to easily.
