Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic just upgraded from my lg sl9yg soundbar to this and let me tell you. this soundbar is amazing. i was not sure about it at first but i’ve had a few days to test it out and it blew me away. i have it set up to my oled tv and the lossless dolby atmos sound is amazing. the sound is more theater like. i hear so many sounds on my favorite movies that i have not heard on my previous one. although it is 330w, its not very bassy. so if you expect bass. you may want to choose something different. but for me in my opinion, it is great. the bass is not too much were sound sounds distorted. overall i am very satisfied. although i am very curious to what the q-symphony sounds like.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A great soundbar.. when it works! this soundbar is really great when it works, but the issues i am encountering forces me to recommend against purchasing this soundbar. when using this soundbar, it can sometime work flawlessly for hours, while sometimes noises pop in or out, even after changing the format sent from the tv. restarting the soundbar (full power cycle by unplugging the cord) usually fixes the issue for a few hours, but it is really tedious. the second issue i am encountering is when connecting my ps5 to the hdmi port of the soundbar. every once in a while the screen will go black and white, and at times the color palette is inverted (green becomes red). restarting the soundbar immediately fixes the issue, but it is also quite annoying.

Amazing sound, really brings movies and TV to life all around you! Extremely easy to install and even easier to setup with a Samsung TV. Link via Bluetooth or WiFi. The built in Alexa feature is awesome and allows you to easily play music. With smart things you can also easily connect directly to the speakers with your phone and play music or video. This setup has it all, sleek form factor and looks, amazing sound quality, easy to setup and feature packed. You couldn't ask for a better surround sound system!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Performance don't do it...save yourself the time of having to return it. i purchased the hw-q70t 3.1.2 soundbar with wireless subwoofer on 10/30 and returned it on 11/1. the setup was easy and the sound was decent but to me the price didn't meet the performance. the subwoofer was incredibly weak. my alexa echo has more bass. the volume on the subwoofer it too low and you have to turn up the entire unit to get the bass performance. so many things about this device is frustrating but the number one issue is the connectivity. it disconnects randomly whether you connect with hdmi or bluetooth. you can always return it but you can't return your time spent fooling with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Purchased for bedroom I bought this for my bedroom to go with my new Samsung 65' Q6 television. It was recommended as a perfect match; it setup easily and quickly syncing to the TV as soon as it was detected. The sound is about average and the bass is a little on the slight side but overall a good match for the TV and a 340 sq ft room. A little on the pricey side for what you get but if you want simply good sound and quick setup with your Samsung Q series television it's a good, not excellent but good buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Frustrating experience Frustrating experience. Issues with quality of the product and quality of the sound. I received the Q950 with a rear speaker not turning on. The soundbar was doing the job but not a real immersion experience. I blamed the missing rear speaker. After calls with tech, and sales... i sent it back & ordered a new one. This time delivered by fedex with a destroyed packaging. The material seemed working despite the visible chocks on it. While listening music worked the sound from the tv was a total failure. Voice totally fade down. Volume fluctuating during a movie. Sound temporary on mute when changing the volume. A disaster. Did I had the worst luck with 2 fully defective q950.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from False Promises i initially owned the hw-n950, which is basically the 2018 version of the hw-q90r and hw-q950t. i was initially pleased but after 2 years of ownership there was no support with firmware fixes and the promised earc update to the n950 never happened. As for the q950t, it’s same story - it has the potential to be a great soundbar, although, it is plagued with issues right now that i wasn’t aware of when purchased. 1. basically it doesn’t support earc functionality (mainly dts:x due to bandwidth issues) and 2. it doesn’t support lpcm 5.1/7.1, it just downscales to pcm (which really is a joke). that being said, it is absolutely useless with the new generation of consoles coming out. in the end, i will be returning this sound bar, because it’s not worth the hefty price tag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Xbox one set up I just updated my older Samsung soundbar and this new one is much better. I really like the DTS Virtual X and Game Pro sound mode when playing Xbox. I do wish they still had the "night" sound mode though. Make sure to use HDMI over optical cable for better sound options! Also, I did have a problem with the soundbar not sending the signal to the TV when I tuned my Xbox on. It was giving me a "Source not found" message. I made sure I connected the devices for optimal performance too. (XBOX HDMI> SOUNDBAR HDMI>SOUNDBAR ARC OUT>TVARC) Here are my settings that fixed that issue. From your Xbox do the following; 1. Settings. 2. TV & display options. 3. TV & Oneguide 4. Device control, and activate the following options; HDMI-CEC, Console on turns display off.
