So I needed a mechanism where I can watch TV without disturbing others. Sennheiser rs120 ii wireless headphones exactly matched my need and now I can independently watch movies with fantastic sound quality.

I had previously used a Sony MDR pair (cheaper than this) which were super efficient in that they remained connected to the audio output and you could have someone listening to the TV volume and simultaneously use headphones. With this you have to connect and disconnect the audio out plug. Moreover, with the previous Sony it had a head band which would connect headphone audio on wearing and disconnected when removed. With this average item if you remove it audio cuts after a minute and makes the most atrocious hissing sound ever.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sennheiser RS 120 II Wireless headphones This was purchased for our tv , as an addition to an old model of the same, but the signal is less strong as to distance and max volume , the control knobs are very flimsy and less easy to turn on/ off, expect will break soon. Disappointed. As I purchased two, I am thinking of returning the second one. Delivery was very slow, over 10 days , tracking inefficient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from RS120 II WIRELESS HEADPHONES I bought this for my father who has bad hearing and he absolutely loves these headphones. He says the sound is crystal clear and he doesn’t have to have the volume turned up too loud in order to hear the tv. These headphones are worth ever cent I paid for them. Plus it keeps my mother happy not having to hear a loud tv all the time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for oldies We have had 2 for many years. The 2 rooms with TVs are not separated by doors. We can sit comfortably viewing our shows. We are both in our 60s. Inherited one from my mother when she passed. Have done a great job. Not had the problems others have mentioned. Highly recommended, especially for those with mild hearing loss.

Can we listen to our TV with the sound on the TV way down for my Wife and I with the Headphones on as I am deaf wind it up till I can hear generally 90% and my wife will listen at say 30% direct from the TV can I +/- sound on the phones and not the TV

Hi Derek. Thanks for your question. The Headphones will let you do it no problem, however you need to check if your TV will let you do it. Your looking for an option in the TVs settings that let the audio jacks be operated independently from the TV. I’d suggest checking with a Sales Rep in our stores for assistance with this. They would need your TV model number to assist with this. (on the back of the tv). Hope this helps with your query.
