Love my Samsung Qled!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this TV for about a week and very pleased with it. The picture is great - I found that the adaptive screen was a little too bright for me it was easy to adjust to a more comfortable level. The remote is small with most of the functions moved to the TV itself which I found to be much more advantageous. Connection to my DVD recorder and my Bluetooth headphones was easy. There are four HDMI slots, an A/V point with supplied adapter that was perfect for me as I have a much older recorder that I still like to use. There are usb slots, lan connection and optical sound that I probably won't use but my kids might! For me this is a five stars product!

Great picture poor sound
My last Samsung gave up the ghost after 5 years with the purple screen of doom, but I was very happy with everything about it. Sadly this TV is a poor so called upgrade. Sure the picture is a lot better very clear in every scale, but oh my the sound is terrible. It’s that bad I went and brought a second hand soundbar and now I can actually hear what being said on it. I would absolutely say it a poor version of my last TV. Great new remotes has Netflix Prime buttons. The newer one is solar powered or light powered which is better but why do two remotes I don’t get it. Samsung should have provided a sound bar for this TV

Added the Q950a sound bar and l must say l’m amazed at the quality of sound with the two products working together to produce a real cinematic experience
Remote is easy to use and the smart set up feature means the TV doesn’t take long to get up and running
The only negative is the cable manage system
The slots along the back are quite inadequate to keep your HDMI cables tidy, they just fall out. And if all your cables are the same size you run out of slots. For a high end TV this is disappointing.

Unreal features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No more flat battery’s in the remote, slim line remote fits well in your hand. Love! The small rocker style buttons for volume and channels, easy movability through the apps and tv/other inputs. Seamless transitions, colours on the screen pop and the ability to put us ambient mode on the screen when not using the tv is amazing! Is definitely a talking statement for guests in our home. Set the screen up tight to the wall so no cabling is seen so honestly looks like a big picture! Easy to setup tones of features have been absolutely stoked with this tv so far!

Nice design, poor image quality
The concept and the design are definitely good. However, image is bad in many ways.
The one thing that I couldn't bear was the white image flickering - every time the screen shows any intense whites, it flickers at a high frequency which is very unpleasant.
Other than that, motion process is below average - if a dark object moves fast on a white background, you'll see a lot of ghosting and a trail.
Lastly, QLED TVs should excel on contrast, but how can they do that if the black isn't black? The startup screen shows how uneven the blacks are, with light grey patches all over the screen (see attached image)

Enjoying it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Images are bright and clear! Our family is enjoying it. The reason I gave it a 4 star is because we have had some issue with the remote control. Sometimes it would not work even though it was fully charged. We were able to troubleshoot through it.

Fantastic introduction to the world of a Smart TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased my 1st smart TV just over a month ago, was overwhelmed at 1st going from a 40 inch to this awesome Samsung 85 inch smart TV. Found the Samsung smart TV very easy to connect and the remote control simple to use. I am still finding new things I can do on this smart TV. Great picture in HD slightly out of focus on non HD channels. Have not up to any of the pay TV channels yet, at this stage I don’t need to with what’s available straight out of the box. Very impressed, looks great and a great price. Purchased a sound bar to match.

Best Addition to Home Theater
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The latest Samsung Smart TVs are easy to use. Easy to navigate menu options, compatible with an older sound bar, super light for wall hanging. Picture is so rich and vibrant…definitely the focal point in our great room. Went with the 3HDMI option to leave future additions a possibility. If you’re into streaming movies from Netflix, etc the remote is so user friendly. Watching TV and surfing the endless possibilities (with the included Samsung TV plus channels) is a job not to be taken lightly. Impressive. Pleased. Delighted. Amazed.
