Questions & Answers

Do the heat pump dryers need to be vented? If not, where does the water go?

Hi Dean. Air which is taken in to cool the heat exchange is then blown back out of the dryer. Ensure sufficient ventilation of the room: e.g. by opening a window. The drying time will otherwise take longer (higher energy requirement) so this machine needs to be situated in a spot where there is room for ventilation. After use water will collect in the area of the pump. Remaining condensed water will then be fed into the condensed water container, which can then be emptied, or out through the drain hose. Hope this helps!
