On the whole, very happy with my new Electrolux
I've been very pleased with my purchase, necessary because my old machine died. My only disappointment was that when I washed my lovely soft bamboo towels in there, they are no longer soft and snuggly. Perhaps I should have reduced the spin speed on those. I used 1200 to ensure a dryer result. Just saying this as a warning to others. Otherwise, I totally love the machine. Almost silent, and very easy to use. Love the energy, water and soap powder savings.

It's only been a few weeks so far but it's the best washing machine we've bought, time will tell on reliability.
The one thing noticable is that it doesn't seem to spin as dry as you'd expect even on 1200 rpm but to be honest it seems to be more gentle on clothes as they come out softer once dried without compromising on cleanliness.
I'd recommend an Electrolux EWF8024Q5WB Front loader to family and friends.

Handy features - looks nice!
After enquiring as to how many rinse cycles this machine does (I haven’t got the time to sit and watch it!!) I was told 1 rinse with the option of adding via the add rinse cycle mode. I find this rather unbelievable - 1 rinse only on the options without adding the extra rinse cycles - really?!!!!

Spin doesn’t remove enough water
I’m onto about my fourth front loader over the last 30 years. Always happy with all the features that make a front loader such a good machine BUT this one leaves the clothes way too wet and heavy. 1200rpm is not enough or not working efficiently. Very disappointed.

2nd Electrolux we bought, comparing to other washing machines I used before this one delivers a better wash. Love the design that prevents any water from being left after wash between the glass door and the drum so you never worry about moody issue…
