Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wish I got one sooner! So easy to use! Great suction on both our carpets and tiles, and picks up stuff our old Dyson struggled with. The battery lasts pretty much our whole 3 bedroom apartment. The cordless stick style is so easy to manoeuvre, and makes getting it out of the cupboard/ putting it back so simple. Doing the whole apartment doesn’t take long, and I can easily get it out for quick touch ups on high traffic areas making maintenance much better. I feel like I’ve vacuumed our flat more since I got this than I had in total before. Our place feels much cleaner. I would highly recommend. I just wish I got one sooner!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wouldn't buy again Very small cannister, plastic tube. Short run time , bought as a replacement for the 10, which was much better,larger cannister, ran a lot longer. I wouldn't buy this again due to those issues. Ok for a quickie clean, but a cheaper model and make would do that too. Considering my original dyson 10 only lasted 5yrs they're expensive. Newer cheaper brands out there do it better esp LG

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Painless process I bought a Dyson V8 vacuum for my new house in July 2020, mounted the charger in a broom closet and used the vaccum daily on timber floors and rugs. It was handy for weekly vacuuming of an outdoor lounge and my car. When the battery died in February 2024, I ordered a new V8 immediately. The V8 is so light I can manage it despite my osteoarthritic hands.

With painful joints, I missed my V8 and decided to buy another specifically because it is so light and easy to use. I love it! The V 8 Origin Extra comes with all the easy to use attachments, plus simpler way to empty the bin, all the features of my other Dyson's but very light and gentle on my hands, wrists and shoulder. I am a fan, the simpler the better for me! Thanks Dyson for still providing this wonderful product that has stood the test of time !
