Durable and protective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my Targus VersaVu iPad case for a few days now and am happy to report that I am impressed with it. The protective covering is durable, yet soft to the touch. It adds very little weight to the package and fits my iPad Air perfectly. The magnetic closure keeps the case shut securely until I'm ready to use my iPad. The VersaVu was easy to use right out of the box. The iPad snaps securely in place and can be rotated 360 degrees once its installed. I have used a number of Targus products in the past and am pleased that they continue to emphasize durability, functionality, and quality in their products.

If only it could have done just a little better...
I spent about a month trying to find the right case for me, and this one (unfortunately) is the closest thing I could get. I loved the hand strap for vertical holding, because my hands fatigue easily - however the weight of the iPad is enough to overcome the one small magnet, so it is constantly sagging as I hold it as the top and the bottom separate. My other complaint is that the case itself does not cover enough of the pencil, so when I go to close it, I'm always knocking it off its magnets, plus the flap only covers it a few inches, so I'm worried of the pencil getting damaged if I put it in a bag of any kind. I still love that it's got the rotation, and the overall feel of the case is still great, but the features I bought the case for are sadly lacking for my accessibility needs. :(

Magnetic closure
The magnet in the closure of case does not stay secured, so when I open up my iPad my battery is about dead. Would not buy again, nor recommend. First case I had for my old iPad from Targus was great, not this one. Very disappointed in quality for what i paid for it

Durable Protection

I like the option of having different viewing angles and prefer to leave the iPad in the case as I find it easier to work with overall. Also, for me it isn't too heavy or bulky. Excellent fit

5-star iPad Case
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased various iPad cases (including Targus) and this is my favorite! I find it very versatile since it can be used vertically or horizontally and there are slots on the inside of the case for positioning the iPad at your preferred angle. I like to cook so I use the iPad case to stand up on the counter showing my recipes. It is easy to use with gaming also since it can be used in both directions.
The case is sturdy and well-padded for protecting the iPad. The iPad fits snugly into the case so it doesn't slide out. I dropped my iPad on the floor yesterday from a standing position. The iPad did not fall out or damage it in any way. When you close the case the iPad goes into sleep mode to save battery life. There is a magnetic flap on the right side of the case that holds the case together for extra protection. When the case is open the flap can be attached to the back of the case for easy viewing. There's also a slot for the iPad pen. I have no complaints about this case!

Great protection but one caveat.
My 2020 iPad Pro feels very secure within this padded case. My only concern is the when the iPad is propped up, it doesn’t feel as secure as my old SPECK case. The grooves aren’t as deep and it wobbles when I touch the screen.

Any way you turn!
This is my 3rd Targus case. Every time I upgrade my Ipad I have to get the Targus cover. I really like that you can use in either portrait or landscape mode. Wouldn’t be without it!
