Good design, cannot pair bluetooth.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could give a thorough review but I cannot seem to pair the device to my phone after numerous attempts.
The design is minimalist, I like the matte white base. The mag safe mount holds your phone in place securely. This device runs on 3 AA batteries, it would be nice if it was able to hold a charge via USB as an extra option.
Downloaded the app but I never got to use it due to bluetooth pairing issues. I’m pretty adept at connecting via bluetooth, this might just be a defective device that I received. These things happen, I am still a fan of Belkin products.

Interesting product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by the functionality of the app for the various broadcasting platforms and the ability to simply save the videos directly to your camera roll for later editing and upload.
I found this product to be more interesting than useful. Yes it does face tracking as long as there's only one face, can't lock the face of interest. With the phone in vertical mode the tracking is far too slow to keep up in almost every case, tracking improves significantly with the in the widescreen horizontal position though not enough to compensate for the slow rotation speed.
Overall, it's decent and the slow rotation speed can be worked around or through.

— Easy to set up
— App also easy to use, but a little confusing when you have to leave the app to go to camera
— Great if you are a single user doing a 1-person podcast
— Hands free adjusting is a good feature
Cons:
— Limited use as I had hoped for multi-person capability
— Must remove phone from case to use
— Can’t use with other friends, coworkers or family unless they have an iPhone 12
— Magnet could be a little stronger
Overall I gave 3 stars because it’s a well made Belkin Product. It has limited depth and usage so purchasers need to be aware of the limitations and comfortable with the individual specific usage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleek white and minimalist look. Easy initial set up. Uses AA Batteries. They were a little hard to get in but eventually got it. It was very easy to set up the app using the scan QR code provided. Had no problem downloading the app, setting up Bluetooth pairing was relatively easy, and using the app was quick and simple. Phone stayed on securely and the tracking was smooth. Using batteries instead of having to be plugged in makes it great to use anywhere. Whether talking on FaceTime or recording a blog or livestream it was perfect. No more needing someone to record for you.

Good tracking poor magnets
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Belkin Magnetic Phone Mount with Face Tracking has very good tracking. It follows my movements way more accurately than my other mount. But it has very poor magnets. It will not hold any of the three phones I tried. The set up is easy, just scan the qr code with your camera and it opens the app store so it can be downloaded, no searching. I expected additional magnets to be included to put on the back of my phone for a secure connection. If your Apple device has a very good magnet it may work for you. If it had stronger magnets it would be perfect. Mine wouldn't stay on it at all, they immediately start sliding off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this is cool concept and is mainly beneficial for content creators that talk or slowly demonstrate things. It wouldn’t be ideal for anything fast pace. You have to be within a certain distance for it to track you, and it moves transitions slowly from side to side. Also, it would be cool if it connected to zoom or FaceTime, but it doesn’t it is only social media apps. It would be beneficial for someone that does lives for a small business though. Also if you don’t have a specific case you will have to take your phone in and out of your original one.

A great concept, but needs more development.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of Belkin, which is why I was surprised with the underwhelming initial experience of this tracking device. First off, the build quality is excellent, as you would expect from this brand. Setup is fairly easy, but once you have the app and start using it, you immediately see it’s flaws. Yes, it does if fact track your face on an x-axis, but slowly. When I say slowly, I mean really slow. It will not track you at all on a y-axis. This device simply is not fast or accurate enough to use in real life scenarios. This device should also have a built-in Lithium Ion battery instead of requiring AA’s. I love the concept of this device and hope a future version addresses these issues.
