Immediate and long-term advantages
A long-time coming, my first Apple device. Yes, more expensive than Windows, but already I'm grateful I could finally make the change. Three immediate advantages: silent, instant start-up and very thin and light. The other advantages will be apparent as time goes on and it's still working well in a few years (which has not been the case with Windows devices).

Very happy, excellent computer
Very happy, does just what I need it to. Previously a Pro user but needed it something a bit smaller this time. Don't feel like I'm missing anything, love the thicker/heavier design.
