GP-side clip broke on first use
Shame to be leaving a slightly underwhelming review. I have a GP11 and have so far had zero issues with any of the accessories I own (multiple mounts, clips, holders etc.).
Unfortunately bought this mount for a specific purpose (was doing an overseas motorcycle tour, so bought this just days before leaving) and the two-pronged clip which attaches to the GP broke on the first use out of the box. So now its just relying on one clip to hold it in place.
I have loads of these products and never had any issues, so hoping just a one-off with my product given the spread of positive reviews down below.

Helmet sidemount used for MX
For the last few years I had used the traditional helmet top mount to record my personal Motocross footage. That view was good, but was getting stale. Decided to purchase and install the helmet side mount and this angle has become my favorite viewpoint. The side mount allows for more depth in view where speed, height and steepness are portrayed much better. Also more dynamics are present where you can see everything in front of you, but also see the entire front end of your bike and your body in action. It is helpful when looking back to see what you are doing right or wrong, but give viewers much more to watch as well. I have gotten other riders to try the side mount and they feel it too is a much better point of view.

Helmet front mount
Since my wife bought be this camera, I wanted to buy good, quality GoPro products not I imatation add ones. Even though they cost more I wanted to protect my camera.
That said, I have only bought GoPro brand products.
I use this product on a 1200 cc motorcycle and found that I would not tighten the screw tight enough to not have it move or shift during my ride.
I have been happy with other products and I have most Silver 4 but I am disappointed in this product. Thought I would buy name brand and get quality but not meet my expectations.

Summers Here With GoPro
I have the mounts on my mountain bike helmet, I have the body worn mount, the handlebar mount and the motorbike mount. I love them all, it gives me options for where I want to have the GoPro. I have my own YouTube channel SimplyBe Meditations :woman_in_lotus_position: and getting the right footage is really important to me as I really want the best for any viewer. I love the GoPro it is really sturdy and strong and gives many options for the footage itself I.e 1080p or much higher, wide lens and more, anti shake and on and on. I am new to GoPro but I am loving how easy it is to use, how solid the mounts feel. It's extremely important to be able to trust the mounts as you are carrying out your activity so you can just get on with it and these feel 100% solid.

Not Compatible with MediaMod..?!
It is not very compatible with MediaMod for GoPro10.
If mounted on the side of the helmet, in a low or medium position, the MediaMod, used to record audio, touches against the support and the gopro is not horizontal, but remains tilted. It would be necessary that the arm connected to the spherical part was 1 cm longer.
I bought this accessory to mount the Gopro on the side of the motorcycle helmet, but I'm not satisfied

Se montato sul lato del casco, in posizione bassa o a metà, il MediaMod, usato per registrare audio, tocca contro il supporto e la Gopro non è orizzontale, ma resta inclinata. (anche se magari raddrizza la ripresa in orizzontale, quindi la ripresa è normale) Sarebbe necessario che il braccetto collegato alla parte sferica fosse più lungo di 1 cm.
Ho comprato questo accessorio per montare la Gopro sul lato del casco da moto, ma non sono soddisfatto

Great Quality. Limited Flexibility.
I purchased one of these helmet mounts for dirt bike riding. I have two helmets, and this mount doesn't fit well on either of them. If you have a helmet that is very smooth (no indentations, grooves, etc.) it will probably work well. We have five different motorcycle helmets in our family, and this mount doesn't fit well on the side of any of them. I did put it on my Fly Trekker helmet, but because of the limited flexibility of the axis points on the mount I wasn't able to get a straight shot. The camera was angled slightly off the horizon because of the limited length of the axis arms on the mount. I didn't really want to put it on top of my helmet because I don't think that gives as good of a view angle. I have no qualms about the quality of the product, I just think it is very limited on most helmets of where (and if) you can mount it. I'm going to look for a front mount that will fit in front of the mouth vent.

Just completed a 7000kms raid across Australia. My gopro was attached all way through to my helmet with the side mount. No problem at all even when I rode some road sections at a speed up to 170km/h. The good point with the side mount is that it’s easy to start/stop the camera and check in the mirror that you did well since with gloves you may misspress the button.

Great product!
Took it with me on my snowboarding trip in January. Loved it! The videos came out great and the view was amazing. I was really nervous that if I fell, I'd lose my go pro but nope! Completely secure! Plus shipping was extremely fast and super easy ordering process!
