Versatility Plus!
Being an enthusiastic hobbyist nature and wildlife photographer and Canon owner for many years I bought the R6 mkii just before a once in a lifetime safari trip to Botswana. It was continually in my hands about 8 hours a day from dawn to dusk, all sorts of conditions, action and light. With all the amazing technology, button configuration, bird/animal eye tracking and the feeling of the camera in my hand… Not once did it disappoint.
Banking on its low light capabilities it continued to reward me producing outstanding shots of the recent major Southern Aurora event back home in Australia.
I love the reliability, flexibilty and images from this camera

Perfect camera. Easy to use, quiet, fast.
I purchased this a few weeks ago as I was keen to take up mirrorless technology. I have owned several Canon cameras since the 1970s. I have a good collection of L lens and purchased with the EF adapter. All my lens work perfectly with this new camera body. Right out of the box I was impressed with the focus speed, detail captured, low light performance. The flip out screen is new to me and is very useful. Battery life is good. Really happy I made the upgrade and would recommend this model to anyone keen to improve their photography skills. A quality product full of features and really easy to use. Well worth the price. I’m impressed.

Top camera, top specs
I purchased this camera 23 April 2024 being a previous owner the R6 went it first arrived.
I love the feel the mkii in hand and the layout of controls especially for my birding in M.
I love the blistering auto focus tracking for my birds and the frame rate means I don't miss the best frame.
This camera has no problem with higher iso that I use with my birding lenses.
The 24 mp full frame is a cracker giving the sharpest of images.
I find the Digital Converter brilliant, so that I never get caught without my long lenses.
For me it's my no.1 then my R7 no.2, I still have my 7D I and 7Dii, I love them all.

The best mid-budget mirrorless camera
The Canon EOS R6 is a well-regarded mirrorless camera praised for its excellent autofocus, image stabilization, and fast burst rate. It's a great choice for sports and wildlife photography, but the 20MP sensor might not be ideal for everyone. While some find the button layout (difficult to get used to), the fully-articulating touchscreen is a plus. Overall, it's a versatile camera that excels in low-light conditions.

Beautiful design
I bought this camera body approx 6 months ago and have not regretted it at all! The features are fantastic from the auto focus to the low light performance. I previously shot on a Canon M50 and, whilst it was a brilliant pocket rocket, the quality and performance of the R6mii is incredible.
I photograph events on a weekly basis and find that the low light performance and enhanced my work so much!

Got a Canon R6 Mark ii as my birthday present back in February and was the best birthday gift EVER. The Autofocus system is amazing and even in the low light situations.
All the buttons are customizable and lets you work fast no matter what kind of photography you are engaged with. I have been using a Canon 6D mark ii for 6 years and very satisfied with this EOS R system
