Sony Alpha a6700 is an amazing camera that I really love taking out with me when I am out and about. I have taken wildlife from backyard and was blown away by the bird auto focus and a recent trip into the Sydney city, the image quality coming from the 70 - 200mm f4 G Lens was spectacular. I would recommend the camera for everyday photography and family outing.

Nice camera
I was a Canon shooter for many many years but because they banned third party lenses, there is not many native for aps-c cameras and full frame are so ridiculously expensive I bought my first Sony camera. Manly I have chose Sony because of very good lens collection at good price and great AF. The quality of this camera is very good the only downside in my opinion is that it’s little bit too small for my hands but it easily fixed by installing frame and I know I could buy full frame body but aps-c is my style. Another thing viewfinder should have better resolution.Overall i think it was very good choice for me to switch to Sony

Practical size
Improved menus, practical control layout with very nice feel.
Aps-c has greater reach with smaller lighter lens. Ideal for travelling or sports etc.
Personal I would like Sony to add the ability to save advanced camera configuration to a custom button along with also any menu item should be allowed to be saved to a custom button but many are not allowed.
It would be nice to switch from say an advanced configuration for sports action back & forth to normal with custom buttons.
Currently you can save camera configuration to memory card as if to transfer between another camera except that formatting the card will of course delete your camera configuration files.

I have been using cameras, all different brands and types for what seems like forever, for me this is the best camera body I have ever used. The perfect size, power and features for me. As an APSC camera is punches way above its weight and really is a full frame alternative.
An all round perfect camera system, coupled with some fantastic purpose built lenses, what else can you ask for.

Huge upgrade
I upgraded from a6000 and happy I did. The a6700 gives me better colour science, advanced focusing features, front dial, battery upgrade, ibis, video recording upgrades, new improved menu system with touch operation and better grip with handling. It’s a camera for me to grow into and learn about all the new features. It’s my 2nd Sony camera in 6 years , I’ll be staying a Sony camera user.

Features Missed
It it took me a few days to become familiar with the Menus because the online pdf user manual is not comprehensive by any means. I actually needed help from Sony Support to find certain settings. While the camera attracted me because of the advanced AI and subject recognition I do miss having 2 memory cards and only having two Custom Keys is also a big detraction from the camera's overall functionality.

Over heats
Yesterday I got it on a hop that I can now film my desired videos but it started giving me over heat prompts even I have yet started filming I was just testing it.
The IBIS is still giving jitters after activating it
I am not happy with it unfortunately
