Too flimsy, repair is ridiculous price.
This laptop was on special for just under $500 and advertised as being ideal for students. It is far too flimsy, and the screen failed within two days, probably being damaged in a school bag. We took it back, and it was not covered under warrantly. The cost of parts to repair was $500 with and addition $150 for labour. Criminal, it would cost more to replace just an LCD panel than the whole computer cost. Absolute thievery, especially when I can get a replacement screen for $50 on-line and it only took me 30 minutes to remove and replace the old screen. Harvey Norman, you should stand behind the products you sell. If they are ideal for students then they should be robust enough for typical student use.

Waste of money. Shame on Harvey Norman and Acer
Absolute rubbish. This computer is too fragile. The screen was damaged within a few weeks. The estimate to repair a screen was over $600 which was more than the whole computer cost, and that is just wrong. I managed to get an LCD display from Aliexpress for $75 and my friend fitted it in less than 30 minutes. How can I get it repaired for under $100 yet Harvey Norman and Acer want an arm and a leg to fix their own product.
