Working well
I bought this printer several weeks ago and I'm very pleased with it. There were some very neat touches such as a plastic wrapper to pull the printer out of the box!. It's easy to fill the ink tanks and install the print cartidges. I did struggle setting up the printer from my PC as I couldn't work out how to link the printer to my Wi-Fi network. The phone app solved that problem. HP Smart, although looking very simple, has all the features I've wanted so far. Print quality is very good which is the probably the most important thing. The only downside is that my cat thinks it's his and sits on it!

Printer of my dreams!
Can’t get enough of this printer! Right from the get go it was incredibly easy to inbox and get set up and ready to use. Connects seamlessly with my computer without any mess around. Ink was easy to install and despite multiple colour heavy printing jobs we’re yet to make a dent in it, seems like the ink will last a VERY long time! Print quality is excellent, colours come out really vibrant and clear. Printer does double sided printing really easily as well and love that the paper is stored in a tray at the bottom rather than it poking out the top. As an added bonus, looks great on the desk!

Great workhorse printer
Note - My first printer was defective on arrival, but HP support sent a replacement without too much hassle and the replacement process was easier than expected. The printer is easy to set up using the app or manual, but don't try to install based on the manual and then use the app or the process will get stuck. Ink bottle design is practical and very easy to refill. Colours are vibrant and detail comes out well. The boardgame manual I printed has a complex background with text on top, the contrast is clear and the text is crisp. The app has a cool craft feature, I used it to make the valentine card and kids colouring picture, it is very fun and easy to use. The printer is not cheap, but it will save you money in the long run with refillable ink and the quality makes it well worth the price. Overall I think this printer would be great for families and hobbyists. One thing to keep in mind is that you will need to print every month to keep the ink from drying out, but with the quality of the printer there should always be something cool to print.

Great small office printer
I purchased the HP 7005 as a replacement for my old inkjet printer from a different brand, taking advantage of the Insiders offer. Initially, I expected it to be slightly larger, given its intended use as a small office printer or a high-volume home printer. However, I was pleasantly surprised by its compact size, which turned out to be quite convenient. I was a bit apprehensive about the initial setup, especially through the HP app, but everything ran smoothly without any issues. Refilling the ink tank was a breeze, with no spillage or ink leakage on my fingers, a relief for anyone who has struggled with cartridge refills before! Printing from my desktop, laptop, and phone has become an effortless task. The printer's feature that allows me to send a file for printing even when I'm away from home eliminates the need to copy files to a USB stick or send them via email. Additionally, the privacy pick-up option ensures that I can control printing tasks before my arrival at my home office. I'm impressed by the printer's speed when it comes to text and black/colour photo prints. The capacity to handle 200-gram cards and 250-gram photo paper is perfect for my needs, as I frequently print leaflets and high-quality photo prints. The vibrant colours are nearly identical to how they appear on the screen, although some adjustments to my screen display were necessary to achieve precise results. HP claims that the included ink will last for two years, but of course, this depends on the printing volume of each user. Though I seldom use the copy function, I decided to put it to the test, and it performed remarkably fast. The 128 MB memory buffer seems to be doing its job well. Scanning documents is a function I frequently utilize, and I'm especially fond of the PDF output option, which is practically the standard for exchanging business documents nowadays. Another standout feature is the ID copy function, which allows users to copy both sides of a document onto a single page, a time-saving convenience that many users will appreciate.

Nice printer prints quite fast using for both sides,occasionally feeds a sheet through every other print with nothing on it,but press a couple of buttons and seems OK again,lot cheaper on ink and better than our last Epson which absolutely cost a mini fortune on ink.

Great value inkvestment!
Very happy with this printer, definitely works out quite good value of you’re going to be printing a bit.
The ink tanks are large, and easy mess free refilling.
Set up was easy enough though we did get stuck connecting a few times, a couple more tries and it all synced up with no issues since, easy printing from all our wireless devices.
There was a few reasons I chose this printer over similarly priced ink tank printers.
It comes with full sized ink supply in the box so no additional set up cost other than paper. The ink is also pigment ink rather than dye so it’s got great vivid color printing.
It has a closed paper tray, this however may be part of the reason the printer is so large, but I much prefer a closed paper tray than paper flopping over out the back gathering dust.
It was also one of few ink tank printers that does automatic double sided printing which is a great feature, much less hassle than the others which either didn’t do double sided or needed to be manually reloaded.
Great functional printer, hopefully it will last us many years to come (after all it does come with 2yrs worth of ink in the box)!
