Rated 1 out of 5 by from not compatible with RBS850 satellite This router was a huge fail. It is NOT compatible with the RBS850 satellite as advertised on the Netgear website. The satellite will appear to sync (solid blue light), but does not show up in the Orbi app or the web admin panel. Other issues: WiFi printers and Sonos devices are not recognized on the network. WiFi signal also intermittently drops. Summary: BRICKED Outcome: returned it and replaced with the RBR850, which works flawlessly (none of the above issues)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deciding on an Orbi After much study and agonizing over what to buy to replace my aging Apple Airport wi-fi router I decided on the Orbi AX6000, router only, no satellites. Partly because I like the looks (some other routers would scare small children and wives 😀) and partly because my daughter is happy with her Netgear router at home (she is IT Director of a nearby company). My house is 2000sq ft and I am pleased that the Orbi gives me a strong signal throughout the house. No need for a satellite mesh for my situation. Setup went pretty smoothly, the only small glitch was that I thought I had changed the password to access the Orbi network, but it didn’t get changed. Probably something I failed to do. Got that resolved on my own without a great deal of difficulty. Overall everything is connected and running smoothly. So far all is good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just works! I replaced an RBK53 plus CenturyLink router with the new RBK863 and am very happy with it. It was easy to setup and now Zoom just works from everywhere in my house. I also have cameras around my yard that now just work. The only issue I see is the connected devices list is still wonky especially for the two range extenders that I have outside - if it shows them at all it reports the devices connected to them rather than the range extenders. Overall, I'm quite happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Highly recommended, changed out the old system a Lynsis Mesh and with Netgear on a 300mps and 10mps plan, we are getting 370mps and 11mps all around the home and office. Never got that consistent speed with Lynsis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great investment [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a 6 year old Asus router and have been very happy with how reliable the Orbi has been since I put it into my home network. The wifi easily covers my 2800 sq ft home and the triband system keeps all my devices connected with very little interruption. I have not explored the more advanced features thus far, but plan to look more into the parental controls to protect my children. Will likely upgrade my system with a Orbi satellite unit in the near future!
