Nice but...
I bought it a month ago, and it is my second VS hair dryer. I used my first VS for 5 years. But this new one, the black things come out every time from the handle. I waited as it will be getting better but it is still the same. I do not think this is common thing as there is no review about this problem. It is so annoying!

I bought this as I needed a proper full size dryer. Drys so quickly with 5 settings and the dryer boost comes in hot and cold. Extra features of the free styling brush and different dryer heads makes it a professional style product for reasonable price.

Great value
Picked it up on sale after my last hair dryer died, and it's been a definite improvement. The regular temperature it operates at is warm, but not uncomfortably hot like my last one, with several different settings for how strong the fan runs on the back. To turn up the heat for styling, the button on the front has to be held down. This was annoying at first, compared to sliding a switch up or pressing a button once, but it also helps me avoid accidentally overheating the hair dryer, which should help it last a lot longer too. The brush that comes with it isn't great, but the switchable front attachment is handy for different hairstyles.
TLDR: Great value, good temperature and features!

Good quality, easy to use
Awesome hair dryer for a decent price. Powerful blow wave and easy to use settings, only thing I wish is there were more than 2 settings for the strength of air as there is just a high and low setting, medium between the two would have been spot on for my hair type. Diffuser works well but rather small circumference and which means the thicker or fuller your head of hair the longer it will take to dry as it doesn’t cover a huge area. Definitely recommend sectioning your hair for this part.
Haven’t used the straight blow wave accessory or hair brush but I’m sure it will be great. Nothing bad to say about this product, it does the job and does it well, easy and simple to use and lightweight.

Extremely Disappointede
I bought this hairdryer last week when my other (older) VS Sassoon dryer died. I went for the more powerful dryer as I thought it would do a good job a bit more quickly.
I have found the switches to be in the opposite place to my other dryers, the "cool shot" is not only a cool shot but also a hot shot, the on and off switches are sliders rather than switchers, and this must be the noisiest dryer I have ever had.
I have found that I am continually hitting the wrong end of the "shot" button and getting hot instead of cold, and with arthritic fingers, I am find the whole bit of having to turn around the dryer in order to turn on or off a bit challenging.
I do NOT like this dryer at all. Next time you design a new product VS Sassoon, please make sure it is user friendly - especially for the older user who still like to blow dry and style her hair!

Buy the VS sasson AC milano professional hair dryer instead, especially if you have thick hair like mine. The latter has a concentrated nozzle which works much better!
