Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy and convenient gift Straight forward ordering process and very convenient (especially to organise from overseas). Dispatched quickly and arrived within a couple of days. When ordering, I was confused by the heading "notes for order" because it's a bit ambiguous - I wasn't sure if this was for delivery instructions or for a message for the recipient. I went with the former which made for a very odd message for my dad! So, one recommendation would be to change this heading to make this clearer. Also, an e-gift card would be even more convenient!

The customer services team went a step further by calling and asking whether or not I would prefer the total amount loaded onto one gift card instead of having to purchase multiple denominations. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disadvantaged due to Covid-19 The sales person was a little pushy and it felt like they weren't trying to help me rather than to hurry me along. Albeit I can understand due to the lockdown beginning and trying to get everyone sorted but it's kind of set me back as I currently have a product I am not happy with and do not want but I am unable to head into a store to exchange for something different because of the covid-19 lockdown. Otherwise I have only ever had really good experiences with Harvey Norman!

Delivery
Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within 2 days. Delivery costs are calculated based on your location and the size of your order. Furniture may take up to 8 weeks to deliver as most products are made specifically for your order. Some Customer Direct products are shipped from overseas and may take longer to arrive. Some goods may take longer to deliver if a product is currently not in stock. A staff member will contact you where this occurs.

Easy returns

If you feel your product has failed a Consumer Guarantee (as defined by New Zealand Consumer Law) then don't worry you can easily return it to your local Harvey Norman store. We'll even pay for the postage if you live in an area where there is no store. Our returns policy covers any purchased item ( conditions apply).

Questions & Answers

Can the gift cards be used for photos/canvas prints and do you have to use the whole amount in one purchase or can you use the card over multiple purchases ?

Hi Kieran, you can use our Gift cards in store at our PhotoCentres. The cards can be used to purchase photos and canvas prints. If you still have a balance left on the card after your purchase, you can use the remaining balance to pay for or put towards another purchase. We trust this helps

If I purchase a gift card will GST be shown on the receipt?

Hi Paul, thanks for getting in touch. We do not charge GST on purchases for Gift Cards, as these are direct dollar value transfers. All purchases made for products using Gift Cards, have an itemised GST component to them, but the GIft Card itself does not. Trust this helps!
