Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Headphones & Service Beyond Excellent I have shopped at Harvey Norman Mount Maunganui for many years, purchasing a wide range of appliance, technology and furniture products. Their service has always been and continues to be first class. My most recent purchase - Sennheiser HD 560S Wired Over-Ear Headphones are outstandingly comfortable, I can easily listen to movies & music for several hours (yikes), with no loss of comfort. The sound is rich with good base while still letting the high notes shine through. I highly recommend them. The technology staff at the Mount branch are extremely helpful with good product knowledge and are more than happy to advise on options, their service is faultless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable listening on a budget The build is all plastic but sturdy. The Earpads are so soft. These are the most comfortable headphones I have. I believe the open-back design means your ears do not sweat. I never feel any fatigue and wear them all day. The cord is a bummer as its in-between being to short to plug into my TV but too long for my phone. My phone (S21) and laptop (Dell Inspiron 3 series) drive these adequately, with good volume. Without EQ or with the sound is great. I don't know any of the technical jargon audiophiles spit out but it sounds better than my Sony WH-1000XM4. It also has a noise cancelling effect as well. Not all the surrounding sound seeps in while listening. Well worth the investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just like their older brothers ,the 565 ovation. 2nd best headphones I have owned from Sennheiser. 565 Ovations being 1st place .these headphones are as close to perfect for monitoring except for the fact they are open. Mike Old fields Crises album is a good benchmark recording and these new 560s thrive at revealing the intricacies of every small detail. Very revealing. Plenty of clean , fast bass. Midrange is smooth and high frequencies never Shrill and please from start to finish. 5out of 5 for the price

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Sound, Mediocre Comfort The sound quality of these is amazing but the build quality is questionable and the comfort is a bit lacking. These are extremely stiff and extremely tight headphones with very little articulation. I can see the glue holding the foam pad in place on the headband and I'm confident it will deteriorate rather fast. I got these as a complement to my Audio Technica ATH M40x headphones which were around the same price point and the difference is stark. The fake leather on the M40x headphones broke down rapidly but the overall design is so much more comfortable and they actually swivel and articulate, a full 90° to the side for storage and almost a full 180º up and down. In contrast the 560s headphones barely move at all and honestly feel like they're gripping my head too tightly—as far as I know I do NOT have an unusually large skull. IT's a shame these are uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time because the sound quality is really enjoyable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This audiophile headphone is fantastic! The open-back design created wider soundstage, and the sound is neutral and very accurate to the master. The headphone is very comfortable to wear for extended period of time, thanks to the velour pads, and its lightweight construction. The plastic construction feels cheap, but it's durable, and it's a great compromise for the lightweight design and cost reduction. Even it has 120 ohm resistance, it's easy to drive the headphone from my MacBook Pro M1 without having to use external amp, but using DAC/amp would take the full potential of the headphone. As a "Love Live!" fan, I can finally listen to "Snow Halation" in higher quality with Lossless on Apple Music. Also the headphone has welcomed me to the audiophile world. :)

As a producer, I need a headphone that is accurate, neutral and with good soundstage, and the hd 560 fulfils all of my needs - they also run very well of a laptops built in amp, which I really need if I’m producing in a train, and I have never worn such a comfortable headphone - I find myself wearing them even when I don’t need to

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Sound & Ultimate Comfort Tonight's the first night I got to try my new HD 560S Sennheiser headphones on. These are my 2nd pair I've bought within the last 12 years. My first pair were used for on-air radio shows in school, which were just as comfortable. This pair is being used for instruments. I just used them to listen to a few songs and really appreciate the crisp tones I'm hearing. I'm really content with my purchase. Thanks again, Sennheiser. 🤘🏻

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delighted on all aspects! After much research, I decided that the HD 560S 'phones might be at the 'sweet spot' in terms of performance and price. I am pleased to say that my experience with the actual headphones has turned out very positively and enjoyably indeed. The over-ear/open-back design suits me perfectly. The build quality is excellent and the headphones have good 'fitting' adjustment and are very comfortable even over longer listening sessions. The sound quality with hi-res files has been hugely impressive. Excellent detail with strong but balanced bass has been a delight with many pieces of music of all types, including classical, jazz, electronica and dance. There is a real sense of aural cohesiveness along with impressive imaging. I am delighted with all aspects of these excellent headphones and feel they represent wonderful sonic enjoyment and exceptional value for money.
