Really pleased with this purchase.
I spent a bit of time trying to make up my mind on wireless headphones that weren't a total rip off and am really pleased I went for these.
Great colour (orange set), sturdy feeling case for them to live in, and I consider it to be good sound quality. (I'm no expert on these matters, but they sound good to me!)
The features you can access just by pushing the central button are really useful and I feel like I'm not missing out on anything there. Taking hands free phonecalls is also really simple and provides good sound clarity.
In short, I'd recommend these to anyone looking for wireless headphones around this price point.

Stopped working / faulty already after less than
Christmas present for my daughter. Already faulty / stopped working after less than 6 months: the volume in one earbud is now very faint, no idea why. Not damaged in any way, fully charged - faulty product. Tried contacting Sony about warranty replacement, with no response or luck. Rubbish, will not buy Sony earbuds again.

Great sound experience.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the item on 27/10/21 and have used the headphones for a one hour walk and 40 minutes of cycling exercise most days since.
The initial charge took just 1 hour 28 minutes.
I have needed to top up charge just three times.
The sound quality has been excellent for both music and radio, mainly speech.
They ear pieces have been comfortable and stayed in place well during exercise.
My only caution for users is to be well prepared for removal, with the charger stable and open as the devices are small, a little fiddly and all too easily dropped. They would be hard to find in the dark.

Great product at a great price
I had first tried the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, but there was a piece of the bud at the top that was extremely painful to my ear. My boyfriend can wear them without issues so it must be my ears.
I decided to try the WF-C500 as they were less pricey and have some fun colours.
The Bluetooth connected without any problem and most importantly, they are comfortable! The case and earbuds feel strong and of good quality.
The sound might not be the best out there, but you can customise it through the app to find what best suit you. At this price, they really are some great earbuds and I do not regret my purchase.
The lack of noise cancelling is noticeable after trying the Samsung, but nothing that would put you off wearing them.
All in all, I am very impressed!

Excellent for my specific use case
I bought these for a specific use. Hopefully this review will help others in the same situation... I wanted these to listen to audiobooks at work whilst wearing ear defenders. I work in a noisy factory where it is compulsory to wear ear defenders. I work 12 hour shifts. I can comfortably wear these for the whole shift, one bud at a time, while the other one remains charged in the charging case. They are comfortable and fit my ears well. The sound quality is excellent for my use. I can't comment on the musical audio quality. But wearing just one earbud allows me to listen to audiobooks in perfect clarity while wearing ear defenders in a noisy factory.
The price is reasonable compared to other earbuds on the market.
Thanks Sony! My shifts are much more tolerable now!

Very tactile
I previously had a pair of Sony brass wired headphones but was constantly yanking them out of my ears accidentally. Eventually, they stopped working.
I bought these a couple of weeks ago and have used them a few times. They are very lightweight so unnoticeable after a few minutes. Sound quality is good but could use a higher volume setting. They fit snugly in the ear but need to be pushed in firmly to appreciate the sound dynamics. What I like is that they are not fiddly. The pods have buttons for taking phone calls, pairing and volume settings which can be used in ear. For the price, excellent value.

Nice sound but one earbud stopped working after a couple of months. The retailer website says Sony should deal with it but having worked through the Sony support website for some reason it concludes that I should contact the retailer. I am stuck in the middle. Disappointing really.
