Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Sound Quality and Noise Cancelling [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Linkbuds S are a great pair of ear buds. They're light and comfortable and feel far more secure in my ears than other buds I have owned. The sound quality is excellent. The noise cancelling feature is superb too, as is the ambient mode. All calls I made using these buds were clear and I had no problem connecting them to different devices. The Sony Headphones App was great to use with these as it lets you change the sound settings of your headphones and also lets you check the battery levels in each ear bud and the charging case too! The charging case is well designed and great for travel. Great ear buds.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loved Sony products until received these Been using Sony products for years have Xm3 for over 4 years no issues whatsoever, have sound bar as well quality unmatched. Had numerous other sony headphones But then it comes to these feel let down and disappointed. First two weeks it was great. Until battery started to drain unevenly and one of the earbuds bus dies faster even boths beenimg used as same time. Had tu replacement then thought it was one one off. New pair of linkbuds same issue starting to appear. Didn't around found out it know issues with sony earbuds that they drain unevenly to fast. Otherwise would love these but it just to unreasonable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all-round! Got these recently after reading/watching several reviews - I was impressed by how small the case is and how light it is, along with the buds themselves. They block a lot of noise passively and the ANC really performs well, not needing much volume to block it completely. On first try, I used these for approximately 3 hours with no ear fatigue at all, which was great. The product also has a nice matte feel, but I am definitely in the market for a protective case as I will have these on the go. I'm yet to experience any scenarios where these have slipped out of my ears and the side-profile is very low. The app is OK, but not user friendly enough in a way that's streamlined. This would be my only drawback although this is a separate part of the product itself in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent This headset is the real flagship Sony wireless hi fi streaming device. The wf 1000xm4 I returned as 1 so uncomfortable in the ear after 10 minutes use and 2 the major fault of battery drain in the right channel. Sony should withdraw them and list these linkBuds S as the real flagship ind in leading Bluetooth phones. My only observation is change the LDAC codec to AAC ...as the former drains the battery in 3.5 hours. AAC or SCB.. turn off ANC if not needed and DSEE....as it doesn't affect the sound quality... and the headset will last for 7 hours. But these are the true flagship Sony phones Don't bother buying the WF 1000xm4...you will be disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Long term review The sound quality is decent considering these headphones have a different design than the rest of them. The features are good and work well and regularly get updated with new stuff. The update process is a nightmare on iOS tho. The major problem is the battery life and the repairability of these headphones. Removing or replacing the battery means a total destruction. I don't understand why Sony markets these as "eco-friendly" "recycled packaging" "recycled plastic", but they don't talk about the poor repairability. Mostly greenwashing in order to cut costs and deliver a poor product and a poor unboxing experience because everything is recycled. Reusing is better than recycling Sony!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The most comfortable ear pods I’ve owned [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is really nicely packaged in recyclable material which is a great start. I’ve struggled with ear pods in the past but these fit a treat & stay in place too. The sound & sound controls are brilliant ~ work extremely well with phone calls and music all of which is crisp and clear. The 360 Reality Audio is amazing. The noise cancelling technology is also 1st rate. I’ve used these for 3-4 hours at a time with no problems at all, the battery life seems excellent too. The supplied charging cable is too short though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Linkbuds S Ss a matter of fact, I bought Linkbuds S, not Linkbuds. However, Linkbuds S was not available in the product subscription menu at the moment when I wanted to subscribe. So far, I am happy with my product. I bought this product not only for casual use, but also during sleep as it is the tiniest hifi in the market. I have only to concerns: 1) The touch control functions even when in contact with other things than only finger, e.g. my pillow while sleeping. Fingerprint of the user could be an option to be used to active this function. 2) I received some buzzy sound while listening to a high volume electric guitar demonstration video. Otherwise, I am happy with my earbuds.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfortable fit but poor performance Bought the open ring design specifically for conference call use and not wanting noise blocking or noise cancelling eaebuds. Very comfortable for all day wear but poor microphones, terrible Bluetooth range and relatively short battery life means I went them back. Audio quality is good especially for voice calls as I wanted, and OK for music (bit base light obviously due to open design) but poor microphones mean poor audio for others on calls. Bluetooth range is dire - can't leave the room that has the phone in without drop out or losing call completely.
