One of my neighbours have already left an anonymous letter in the mail box complaining about how loud my music is! This speaker has also made one of the vents in my roof fall out. I definitely recommend 100%, worth every dollar!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have! If your thinking about having your friends over for a party, bbq, or just a night of fun, you want this speaker. The sound quality is amazing, vocals very clear, bass is thunderous, and the light show can add just the right amount of flare. I took my partybox outside to play some music while washing my truck, when I looked down the block people where sitting outside nodding their head and jamming to my playlist. If you’ve ever wanted to know how it feels to be the DJ and wanted to hit the sound cues during your favorite songs heard the your chance. If your looking to have great sound in the house this is a must have. From personal use all the way to entering a back yard of guest and taking over the neighborhood. This is the speaker you want!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This things goes hard!! Bought this meaty speaker after months of connecting in stores then walking out and blasting tunes and boy oh boy does it slap. If you stand in front of it whilst the volume is up, your ears will be clapped for at least 2 days.. I was blasting this thing in my apartment and the guy above me claims the base vibrated the urn that held his grandmas ashes and it fell off and smashed, not ideal but i was lowkey impressed. Would highly recommend unless of course you cannot exercise self control with the volume because i guarantee your neighbours will get mad!!

The bass boost made the windows in my house vibrate. The feature on the actual speaker are very simple and easy to use. The wristband really didn’t appeal to me at all. It doesn’t seem very practical. The speaker is VERY heavy, while it does have wheels, this product will not be easy transporting around.

The Party Box is loaded with features which any DJ would love. It is a speaker which every party should have. The light lit DJ and wristband brings the concert feel to your party. Air Gesture Wristband: Control the speaker with hand gestures. The speaker and wristband have the same color. Move it or shake it to see the wonders you can do with this. Mic and Guitar Inputs: Worked great with mic and guitar inputs Portable concealed wheels and handle for easy carry; External USB Charging for other devices; Bass Boost to all Audio; USB Playback and Bluetooth streaming; You can easily conduct a large party, wedding and get together with this complete speaker. The speaker is very heavy though.

I can turn it up loud and the base does not drown out the words. I, be never had to use the bass boost as it shakes the room. I love to hear and feel my music. One is a lot, some would say too much. I purchased a second one.

Does the battery last 20hrs ?

Our JBL PartyBox 1000 doesn't have a built-in rechargeable battery, it needs to be plugged into a power source to function. Therefore, it will play as long as it is plugged in.

Is this speaker portable? Or does it need to be plugged into an AC outlet to work?

Thanks for your question. Yes, this speaker is classed as portable. The JBL PartyBox 1000 speaker needs to be plugged in with a AC Power Cord and needs a constant supply of power since it doesn't have a built-in battery. Trust this helps!

Can you connect jbl partybox encore mic with this speaker? Do you need a plug-in?

Thanks for your inquiry. Our JBL Partybox Encore is only compatible with the Wireless Microphones that come with the unit. It will not be able to connect to the Partybox 1000.

Thanks for your question. Our JBL PartyBox 1000 can't be integrated with other speakers as it is a standalone portable speaker system with a built-in amplifier.
