Great coffee convenience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this machine about a week and I’m in love . It’s just so easy - one touch and moments later it’s brewed a fantastic cup of your favourite hot drink - from long black to the perfect temperature for green tea to hot milk before bed- I’m excited ever time I use it. And I love that I can save my preferred settings from temperature to strength and know I’ll get my cup the way I like it every time. The app is the only let down- great idea but just doesn’t seem to work well. It’s extremely slow to connect but once connected it isn’t very interesting - I feel there could be more improvements made here. Otherwise this is the best home coffee machine I’ve ever used and it is the Queen appliance in my kitchen - just love it.

Genuine all-rounder!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impresssion on unpacking the machine was WOW - the real thing. Setting up the machine was far easier than I thought it would be. The instruction manual was clear and easy to follow.
Downloading the Delonghi app to my phone linked the machine to the home wifi in one easy step.
Setting up individual profiles for the household members was simple and now one touch to brew the selected beverage.
The machine tells me when to add beans, water, empty the grounds etc. So easy!!!

Touch screen with many coffee options and manual tweaks to presets including milk frothiness a real treat
It literally does almost everything for you regarding maintenance to keep that coffee quality constant
The Crema created is excellent and option to use ground coffee is an option as well
And so quick with dual boilers for the water and milk

A professional feeling machine

Plenty of options to choose from to create your desired brew. Once you understand all the options and set them for your preferences, its just press and go and the coffee makes itself. It’s quite versatile. If you enjoy that barista style coffee and enjoy experimenting with beans, flavours and mixtures, you’ll love this machine. Great for entertaining as you can please all your guests.
If you want things to be simple this machine may not be for you as you will need to take care of this machine to ensure it performs all the time compared to a simple pod machine and milk frofher. We have used all sorts of different machines in the past for making coffee and this is the best we have used when it comes to making a perfect coffee to match your personal taste.
Whilst this a great machine, the beans that ‘make it the coffee’, so choose wisely. The bean adapt technology is an interesting feature and helps with making that perfect cup.
Like many things these days you just have to have an App. It allows you to ‘play’ with the machine, however the machine works just as well without it and the app just can’t make that coffee first thing in the morning.

Worked for a while.
Bought this unit 4 months ago and it was great ....for a while. Started having issues with the milk jug not dispensing milk, just steam. Spent endless hours Googling, cleaning jug, descaling, dismantling, rebuilding, changing o'rings, trying different milk and milk temperatures, praying...but nothing seems to work consistently. Now at the stage where the first cup of the day will work fine but then it will not work again, no matter what you do. Called Delonghi service and was advised that we will need to bring in the machine and its a minimum two week wait to get it looked at.

Perfectly Delightful PrimaDonna
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For someone like me who hasn’t used any type of complex machine to brew a cup of coffee (such as those found in coffee shops, or their smaller counterparts for the home), this is definitely a breeze to use. I went from preparing instant coffee, to using other manual appliances such as a French press, AeroPress, and cold brew. I wanted one of those manual coffee machines, with the tamper, grinder and the steam wand, but that never materialised. I jumped to the DeLonghi PrimaDonna Soul, the fully automatic coffee machine that truly lives up to its name and description.
With the PrimaDonna Soul, there’s no need to manually measure servings of ground coffee, no need for a tamper to press the coffee to the right level on the filter, or to read any temperature dial to get the milk to the proper temperature. It takes a push of a button, an optional turn of a lever for the milk, and all is done. The screen provides instructions in case there is something amiss – perhaps the need to add more coffee beans in the receptacle, or water in the tank.
I was hesitant at first when the time came to start using the machine, since I had no prior knowledge or experience with these types of gadgets, but with a lengthy review of the user manual and viewing the procedures on YouTube, I felt confident that this would be something that I could master with ease.
My concerns as a first-time owner and user of such a device are twofold – the cover, or upper part, of the milk carafe doesn’t fit snugly to the main part – it’s a bit loose. If the container is handled, inadvertently or inattentively, from the top, the 2 parts easily separate, and the plastic container drops and spills its contents. I hope sometime soon it could have a rubber ring where they join together, acting as a seal, keeping both parts together. Secondly, while it’s great to see frothy milk and foam pouring out while making my cappuccino, it generates steam which rises and settles on the touch screen. This also happens while cleaning the nozzle. This worries me that it might seep through and damage the internal mechanism behind the screen, so I have to keep wiping after each prepared cup.
But all things being equal, and considering the pros and cons in the effort of making a great cup of coffee, this is one machine I am grateful for and wouldn’t trade it for any other. I'll just have to be more careful in holding the milk carafe, and make sure to wipe the machine down after use. The PrimaDonna Soul prepares my coffee just the way I want – perfectly. DeLonghi has made the PrimaDonna Soul the star of my kitchen, and I consider myself the primo uomo when preparing my favourite hot beverage.

Coffee goodness made with ease!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DeLonghi Prima Donna Soul automatic coffee machine is both stylish and easy to use. It produces perfect results every time and offers a wide selection of coffee options that can be customised to produce individual and creative results for even the most fussy coffee drinker (me!).
Set up is quick and smooth, the LCD display is user-friendly and, while this machine uses fresh coffee beans, everything is automatic so it's like having barista-made coffee with the touch of a few buttons. The LCD screen tells you what to do at each step so it’s hard to go wrong and you can cancel actions if needed. I love that the automatic milk froth jug can be stored in the fridge after use and allows multiple types of milk to be used.
This machine includes the DeLonghi Coffee Link app, which is also easy to configure. This app has a unique Bean Adapt Technology, which allows you to create your own coffee bean flavour profile and grain profiles. The app and the machine also allow you to customise your coffee and save it for exactly how you want it for your own taste preferences, coffee size, temperature, milk froth and aroma. I loved these unique options. As well as multiple coffee types that can be made and adjusted to preferences, there are additional features for hot chocolate, hot water and tea - which I found very useful within our house.
This was my first time using a fresh coffee bean automatic machine as used pods in the past. The taste and crema have been delicious and I love the smells of fresh coffee. Cleaning is pretty easy with many dishwasher friendly parts, but requires a little bit of extra effort for some parts. The price point is a bit higher than I expected, but you are getting many functions (including the ability to make coffee from an app!) and higher quality than other standard coffee machines so overall sound value for money. I keep finding new features the more I use it. This appliance is my new favourite one in the kitchen!

Fantastic Fully Automatic Coffee Machine
Bought this as a replacement to a non automatic coffee machine. 2 days in and I am not missing the grinding, tamping, steaming processes and the clean up at the end.
Have played around with the settings and at this stage, it is making great coffee. Thought there might have been an issue with how hot the milk and coffee would pour, but if you like hot coffee, this is the machine for you.
Customising has been easy using the app and allows a lot of flexibility in how you like your coffee.
Very happy so far and have started configuring some of the other coffees available.
