It deserves a better accessories
I bought this machine a couple weeks ago, I have been trying to tune a shot for a week but the beat shot is yet to come. I realise it is not about the machine but the accessories. I don’t understand why the machine only come with a pressurised filter basket but not a unpressurised filter when it claimed itself as “mini barista” it seems less considering your customer who purchase a fresh beans from roastery. It is not a problem as you target the beginner to use this machine but please provide a platform to your customer to purchase a better accessories to improve their experience e.g bottomless portafilters and unpressurised filter.

Think I made a good decision
Got this machine to replace my 9 year old EM6910, and I am pleasantly surprised by the level of espresso and textured milk this little machine has achieved.
The Mini Barista has a 58mm group handle which meant I could use the single wall filter baskets I kept from the EM6910 without having to change my grinder settings too much. The difference in the espresso pour quality between this and what I was use to is negligible. Great shots really.
When it comes to the steam wand performance it's truly impressive, makes great milk.
I found the milk jug supplied a little small for doing 2 lattes so I just use the bigger jug (again kept from 6910) when making 2.
For the price this machine is punching above it's weight.

First unit leaked, second one gets stuck on steam
Bought this machine 3/18. Had to return it as it leaked from the back valve, straight down the cord to the plug - thank goodness for circuit breakers. Returned it to the place of purchase where they exchanged it for a new unit. Second unit worked ok for while, but now gets stuck on the steam function when I'm trying to extract. Have to repeatedly turn dial to O and back until it decides to extract not create steam. It has even built up so much pressure in the group head during this malfunction that it exploded grounds all over the place when tried to remove group head.

Great coffee, great value for money!
I decided to try the Mini Barista because I wanted to stop using coffee capsules and this machine seemed to provide everything I needed at a great price point. I'd never made coffee from scratch before so I followed the instructions on the Quick Coffee Making Guide included in the box. The Mini Barista was so easy to use and I was really impressed with the results. Within a few minutes I had a really great cup of coffee. It didn't look perfect, but was delicious - and I was able to get it to the perfect (hot) temperature for me. Really impressed with this little machine - it looks good and is great value for money.

Cafe quality coffee at home
Very simple and user friendly machine that produces rich, flavourful cafe quality coffee shots with an excellent crema. The flavour and crema is superior to previous pod machines I have used, and a coffee is made just as quick and without the added waste of used pods.
The machine itself is small, compact, easy to clean and fits nicely on our kitchen bench. The included accessories are excellent and include both 1 or 2 shot holder options. The steam wand is powerful and produces excellent frothed milk in a short amount of time for the perfect cappuccino or latte.
Overall an amazing, value for money machine that produces cafe quality coffee with no barista experience required!

Not in it for the long run
I bought this machine about 1 year and 2 months ago and for the last 5 months I’ve been experiencing some really weird issues. The steam wand will occasionally not work. Making me having to turn off and on the machine to kick start it. But the worst thing about the machine is that I leaks internally and externally. I was smelling a burning sound from inside the machine so I was forced to open it up. To find almost every metal part to be rusted while also there being water everywhere. Water also for the last 4 months has be leaking through the side of the group head. Even when the machine is off. Ive used this machine everyday. Was really happy with it for the first 6 months or so but then it all went south. I can’t afford to buy another if the same thing is just going to happen. I do not recommend you buy this machine. I recommend going for a more expensive model. As I assume they would be made to a better quality. However I have never experienced a better model so do your own research.

Leaking water
Good coffee BUT floods every time I try to use it. The reservoir does not seal into the back of the machine OR the leak comes from somewhere else. Hard to tell.
My work bought same version, also floods but was replaced by Sunbeam and is OK now.
My issue been with Sunbeam since September 2020.

Multiple issues
We are on our third unit that has leaked from the water tank. They seem to last 6 or so months. This one (the third) has lasted from December until today. We have had 2 replacements from sunbeam but now need to call again
