Not hot enough hot water
I bought this 4 weeks ago for the instant hot water. I have arthritis and lifting a kettle is difficult. The unit looks great but DOES NOT DISPENSE BOILING WATER. I have tested with a thermometer on 10 occasions, and the highest temperature was 85. This is not adequate to brew/extract black tea properly. Would only be good for green tea. I have returned it for a refund and purchased a small kettle instead which is a shame because I really liked the idea and look of it

Death to the Kettle & Jug
One thing I hate about boiling the jug is you always boil more than you ever use. The other problem is my wife likes her hot drinks 100 degrees where as I like mine just warm enough to scull it back in one go. Also the length of time it takes to boil a jug and the amount of noise the jug makes its almost unbearable.
The aquastation not just filters your cold water but now my wife can burn her lips off at 100 degrees if she chooses and I can have my 75 degree luke warm hot chocolate AND when the babies need a bottle we can custom set the temperature to just 45 degrees which is perfect! No more testing hot milk on my wrist back and forth. This is literally the best innovation in my kitchen. One small step for man, one giant leap for man kind (in my kitchen of course)

Healthy Hydration at a click of a button
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Breville Aqua Station Purifier hot is a great addition to any homeoffice.
I always found it challenging to stay hydrated during the workday as making my way to the kitchen everytime I wanted filtered water or a cup of tea felt like a distraction to the task I was on.
The Breville Aqua station solved that problem for me by making it quick and convenient to enjoy a cuppa.
It was a little difficult to set up in the first place but once everything is in place it is easy to operate and quick to dispense.
It feels good to know that I am treating my body well while staying on task.

Excellent oriduct
I really enjoy this AquastationHot. Saves time not waiting for a kettle to boil. Lets you take even a small amount of water if needed in your cooking. The water is hot when your drink is made. Easy to clean vp, very easy to fill. I take the water to the conrptainer which saves lifting the jug off the station. Filter seems yo be very efficient. I was pleasantly surprised to realise I could obtain room temperature water from this unit as well. Ths meant that I could remove our filter jug from my kitchen bench along with the kettle. More than makes up fir the room used by the Aqua Station.

Worth buying
Since I purchased this item, we haven’t used our kettle and thermos jug at home. It is very convenient especially during evening if you want to have a cup of tea just press the button and you have your instant hot water. My children also use this for their drinking water (using ambient). Now my kitchen bench have more space because my thermos and kettle are now kept inside our kitchen cabinet. You could taste the difference of the water between the tap and the breville aquastation (purified water). My husband also appreciates this product because he loves drinking hot water. 👍🏼👍🏼

Compact and convenient
Pros:
Really fast water filtration.
Small, compact and space saving.
Easy to use buttons.
Easy to read display.
Easy controls.
Cons:
Need to refill quite often if you drink a lot of water.
Water filter can't be washed but only disposable if you hate disposable products.
Overall:
If you drink a lot of water, teas and other hot beverages this compact and easy to use water station is perfect for you and your loved one if you have minimal space at home or in the office.

Great idea, less than perfect execution
My kettle stopped working and I was after a replacement. I saw this and immediately loved the idea. I drink a lot of tea, and being able to have boiling water immediately in just the right quantity for a cup of tea sounded perfect. However, I noticed right away that my black tea seemed weaker than usual. I measured the water temperature and it was only around 80 degrees. If I immediately went on to pour a second or third cup the water did get a bit hotter, but having to discard a cup or two of water before getting close to the right temperature for brewing black tea seems to defeat the purpose of the appliance. It also took up quite a bit of bench space. I returned it and swapped it for a new kettle.
