Finally a proper battery packExcellent capacity battery using 2170 cells vs 18650 cells, making it this pack vastly more suitable for longer term application with lower degradation in a very high power use case. the proven biggest detriment with cordless vacuums is very large battery degradation with not one single cordless vacuum currently known retaining sufficient battery pack performance after 5 years. I do not yet know if this will either, but this battery pack will at least give it a fighting chance. All other cordless vacuums (have a large house and 3 dogs) used over previous decade have all performed poorly re battery degradation as the use case is simply to high power for the battery capacity and output - high power cordless vacuums demand a lot from the battery packs, and circa 40 to 50wh packs using 18650 form factor cells simply cannot handle this demand without significant degradation even after just 12 months or max 2 years of decent use. A near 100wh pack using high quality 2170 cells was the key factor for spending the big bucks on the v15. Purchasing from the start a second battery pack and alternating each day - i am confident of finally getting some years of high performance without high degradation. Previous stick vacuum battery packs (wertheim evolution) are down to just 20 seconds run time on boost mode after 11 months, and in my experience as well as professional vacuum review sites - this is more or less the norm. Fingers crossed, but i know a lot about batteries, and finally a pack has been released that makes sense for the use case with high power stick vacuum. Dyson are way overpriced, but - in this case, after a decade of using other brands, i have swung back as Dyson have finally nailed the battery pack before other brands.

Click-in battery for Dyson Stick Vacuum Cleaner.Battery was delivered ( with some delay), but was wrong for the make of Dyson vacuum cleaner which we had bought previously from Harvey Norman.
I had to return the battery for a refund.
Unfortunately the correct replacement battery is 'out of stock'.

This is compatible with Dyson V15 Detect Absolute Extra, Dyson V15 Detect Total Clean, Dyson Outsize Absolute Extra. Dyson Outsize Total Clean, Dyson V11 Outsize, Dyson V11 Outsize Pro,Dyson V11 Animal, Dyson V11 Absolute Extra and Dyson V11 Complete Pro. Trust this helps!
