Great piece of kit for our feral Shiba Inu
I really like this, not sure what people's expectations are that it's got bad reviews. Our Shiba is prone to going nose down into hunt mode and completely deaf in the bush. We've used it to retrieve her several times. Setting it up to go into low power mode when she's in range of our wifi we get about four days easy on a charge. If you have it in live tracking mode where it updates all the time obviously it chews more battery. Really, for peace of mind this is awesome and much cheaper than retrieving your dog from the pound, and the stress of hunting the neighbourhood or park when she's done a runner. Obviously it need cellphone coverage to work but even on Waiheke we have had no issues.

My one would tell me all sorts it told me my dog was a few blocks away so had to leave a meeting rushed home in a panic thankfully she was at home and did this a few times would not waist my money on this more trouble than it’s worth

Monthly fees and accuracy issues
As a a GPS tracker it does an ok job. The monthly subscription fees are a bit expensive for what it offers. The digital fence is sort of too good to be true. It kept warning us that our dog has left the property while he was sitting right next to me. The only good thing is their customer service.they keep their word and return your money right away if you don’t think its for you within 30 days. We have already returned the product.

Amazing product with a great app to go with. Feels good knowing we can leave our naughty dog at home and know if he takes himself out by notification as soon as he leaves the property.

Ideal for use in countryside/ bush
Works well in open areas. At times, has issues going 'live' to acquire an immediate GPS response. Usually resolves itself after trying a few times.

Not Perfect, but so good
I have a Fox Terrier who has a keen sense of adventure. I have met all my neighbours via her wanderings. Found this item, read the hit and miss reviews and thought I'd still give it a go. Yes, battery life is short, but just charge it nightly like your phone...it is a small item (slightly larger than a box of matches) that constantly monitors your dog's wherabouts...of course it will suck power!
You can set a 'safe' area and the app will alert you as soon as the tracker leaves the area. It's not alway in exact real time, but it's usually only about a 3 second delay...I live in the country, so this is pretty good.
Had this item for less than a week and it's already paid for itself...little Miss took a wander the other morning and the app lead me straight to her.
Great piece of kit and so glad I made the purchase...if you're considering one, just buy it...you will not regret it. 5 Seconds to set up and the peace of mind is priceless.

Really good tracker, works exactly as specified. Definitely on the pricey side with the subscription, but well worth it to keep an eye on my cat.
