Two pin plug only
When I opened the packaging, I found that the plug is a two pin continental one. The "helpline" explained that only shaving sockets are allowed in UK bathrooms. But there is no notice given on the packaging that a shaver socket would be needed to charge the toothbrush. My beard trimmer and wet/dry razor both came with three pin plugs on their chargers and they are charged when it's needed in a bedroom, but only ever used in the bathroom. Why cannot there be this possibility for this product (without buying a special adapter which the helpline would not supply)? Clear details on the packaging would have avoided disappointment.

Gentle on sensitive gums
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with sensitive and receding gums, I haven’t used an electric toothbrush in a while in case it was too abrasive on my teeth and gums. Therefore I was pleasantly surprised that the Oral-B Pro 2 2000 had a pressure warning when the toothbrush head is pressed too heavily on the gums or teeth. I found this to be very handy and used the sensitive mode which did not cause any pain yet gave me a dental clean finish. The slim body felt comfortable to hold and the instructions were easy to follow and remember. It certainly is a pleasure to use and also cleans my retainer exceptionally well.

Disappointed with the Pro 2 2000W
Expected something wonderful for the price of this toothbrush, it didn't deliver, performance exactly the same as basic Oral-B, I could have saved a lot of money. Two speed? softer for sensitivity? irrelevant really this is not a powerful brush, don't understand the purpose? if brushing too hard and a light is displayed it is impossible to see when brushing. On/off switch so small takes two or three attempts to activate/deactivate. The strange toothbrush head fitted? pink hollow to the centre? this does not brush anything? what is this for? - in all, as said, could have saved a lot of money and just purchased the basic, I feel quite cheated!

Gentle and Easy usage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time trying any electric brush over manual brushes. I have always been using manual brushes and I was pretty nervous to use this but surprisingly the results were amazing. I didn't expect it to be so easy to use and gentle on ur teeth and mouth. After every time wash it gives you a fresh and clean feeling. One thing I would like to mention is they should have given an extra brush inside the packaging so that even if after using long the brush condition becomes unusable, we can use another brush with it.
Overall my experience was good and I will recommend it to give a try

Timers Are Stupid
I've used a 2000 brush for a few years. The only thing I didn't like is the timer. It just kept (what the Oral-B call it) stuttering. But the brush has now started to rattle a little bit. Will be with use which is wearing the brush out a bit.
So now I bought the Oral-B Pro 2 2500 Black Edition. This toothbrush does the same. But when I am only about three quarters done, the toothbrush turns off for no reason.
Also, I can't find the exact brush to register. All I was given to register was the 2000 series. But it seems to have registered a white 2000 brush, not a black 2500. I looked to try and change this, but the brush is nowhere on the site.

Lithium-Ion is a godsend!
My previous Oral-B (Vitality) would lose performance as the voltage of the battery was getting lower and lower. With a Lithium-Ion you will get the same performance from fully charged until it runs dry. This brush will last at least 1½ weeks when brushing for 6 minutes daily. Nice rubber grip and the colour is great as well. The pressure sensor is fantastic! It will visually warn you but also slow down the brushing to protect your gums. Very nice. I absolutely recommend it!

Oral B should be renamed Oral A+
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Oral B Pro 2 and was immediately surprised about the packaging, how clear it was and the graphics made it very clear to see what features it had. Having used it for a few weeks, i loved that it had Rechargeable battery, 2 cleaning modes (Daily Clean and Sensitive), Visible pressure sensor and the design was super slim. The only slight hindrance is that it's quite loud and I wished it gave different feedback in terms of power when it is low on battery. Overall, I love the design, how grippy it is so you won't lose it while brushing and the pressure sensor works so good. Thankyou hometester!

Brilliant starter electric toothbrush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Oral-B Pro 2 2000 was easy to setup for use, I was surprised how light it is, I still remember how the first electric toothbrushes felt like, almost brick like in your hand, this one is slender, easy to hold and pleasant in weight. It does everything you'd expect a standard electric toothbrush to do, has a 2 minute timer, easy change heads and battery seems to last quite a while when brushing twice a day. I was positively surprised that the Pro 2 2000 also has pressure control so you don't end up pressing too hard on the gums. I'm definitely happy with this product and won't be packing it away anytime soon.
