I Love My New RP 8000F II SpeakersThese speakers are as beautiful to look at as they are to listen to. I actually keep the speaker grills on. I thought I'd have them off like you see in the images and in the stores when on display. But sitting here looking at them, there is just something about the black grill cloth and the ebony finish, which really looks like wood that's been colored, not cheap looking at all. To me they just look magical standing there. They're great. And I've paired them up with two RP-1200SW subs hooked up in stereo via the pre-out of my Denon Stereo AV receiver. They're set to 180 degrees, 5 gain, and 120hz crossover. Great for music and movies to my taste.

My new favorite thing in the worldI had the Klipsch reference cinema series 5.1.4 system and was looking for something that provided a little more punch. So, I decided to upgrade my front speakers and I elected these bad boys for the fronts. When I made the purchase I was a little worried they wouldn't be worth the investment but the very first song I listened to with these things instantly squashed that worry. I'm using the built in bi-amping option on my Pioneer A/V receiver to power these monsters with two channels of juice and wow do they slap. They don't need a sub in my opinion. For movie watching, absolutely get a sub, but for stereo music these things stand alone like champions.

Superb[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these speakers almost a month ago and they are the best speakers I've ever owned. I have them hooked up to a 200 watt yamaha receiver and they sound excellent. From the highs to the lows everything sounds so crisp. I personally didn't expect so much bass from four 8" woofers but wow, these things bump. I have them hooked up to my TV for surround affect and definitely not disappointed. Hands down the best speakers that I've owned.

Outstanding Speakers![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd just like to start off by saying WOW! These are the best speakers I've ever owned. They are big but they put out an equally big sound. The sound is crisp and clear and are more than loud enough for anyone's theater surround sound needs. Hooking them up was a breeze and they look absolutely amazing! I like how the front panels easily go in place and the darker ebony color looks great in any style room. I would highly recommend these speakers to anyone wanting loud, clear, and crisp sounds for their listening pleasure.

Amazing clear sound[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are not audiophiles but we do appreciate good sound, and these have absolutely delivered that. We setup these speakers in our living room beside the tv and connected them to our reciever. After a little playing with the placement and how they were aimed we sat down to enjoy some music and a movie. We were blown away by how good everything sounded. These made for a huge improvement in our experience, I’m a little disappointed we waited as long as we did.
The highs were clear and seemed effortless, the bass was tight and well rounded, however I think I will pair this with a subwoofer in the future to help with the very low frequencies. Overall this was the biggest upgrade we’ve had to our home theater system and we couldn’t be happier

OMG!So one year ago I purchased a RP-504C and the wife loved it. So this time I have added a pair of RP-8000F II and all I can say is OMG!! I Put them through their paces. Quiet and loud, symphony, T-Rex roars, trains, movie introductions, etc. These are without a doubt the best speakers I have ever owned. The clarity and crispness are beyond impressive across the volume spectrum. Visually they have a look of sophistication but don't let that fool you. These speakers are all business. I can't wait till I can get this up to 7.2!

Out of the Park!!!Replaced my older RB-35 bookshelves with these and I'm not disappointed. I was worried for a bit with the stereo performance then switched from LFE to LFE+Main with these and my two Klipsch powered subs, one R12SW and one SPL150 and all I can say is "WOW". The difference is unreal. With lows down to 18hz you feel it in your bones. The experience is so immersive whether a movie or analog stereo you're just right there. A bit pricey but when you're asking for the best you're going to pay for it.

Can’t get the smile off my face!Great looking and even better sounding. Only regret is that I waited this long to get them. Been eyeing the RP-8000s for a long time. Excited that I finally get to buy and I get to be one of the first to get the RP-8000 IIs. They sound amazing. Crisp highs, great mids. I have a couple paired with an SPL-150 and I can’t stop smiling.
