Wonderful Projector
Recent purchase and is been used in a dedicated Media room.I have watched a few movies since the purchase about a week ago. Set up was easy. The projector has enough features and specifications to get the set up I wanted without getting too overwhelmed with excess specs that I would probably never use. I would have loved to have a motorised lens cap, as the projector is mounted on the ceiling and I have to stand on a stool/chair to cover the lens after turning it off. Also a hard wired Ethernet connection would have been handy too, rather than relying on wifi only.

Amazing Picture Quality
Once installed and taking some time to understand the options and features, I was blown away by the superb 4Ke image quality of the Epson TW7100. It was easy to install on the ceiling, and the lens shift and keystone options allowed me to set up the 100" plain wall screen from the floor up.. this makes the viewing very real... as though you are there! The remote is perfect, great improvement on my older Epson Projector remote. The big issue in going with a projector over a TV is for me... 1) The projector is so much more fun for an event like a Movie Night, and 2) with it installed on the ceiling showing to a normal wall, the impact on the multi purpose rumpus room was zero. Perfect!

Simple to set up, great picture, easy to focus and keystone
I was very surprised by how bright and clear the picture was. I'm using a 120" screen and projecting from around 4m away - the image is excellent. Getting the projector lined up is not an issue as you have Keystone options in both planes, plus the corner functionality and a left/right and up/down image shift. Within 5 minutes I'd got the image bang on with the screen edges. Fires up quickly - very quiet and with the 12v link it automatically lowers the screen when you turn it on. Only problem I've found is that the Samsung active 3D glasses I have won't work with it - so will need to buy the official Epson ones - which is a pain but hey ho. Good projector and certainly brings the cinema home during Covid-19 restrictions.

The entire image cannot be in focus & eco mode flickers
I have 2 problems,
1. If I focus the center of the image, about 10% of the image to the right is blurry. And if I try to focus the 10% image to the right, the center becomes out of focus. My projector sits at the center of the lounge about 1.2m off the floor. I did not use any vertical or horizontal lens shift at all and No Keystone too.
2. In Eco mode (power consumption), the screen flickers a lot. Extremely annoying. It goes away when I use medium, but then the fan become pretty loud and quite annoying as it just sits right behind me.

new epsom projector
We have had an old projector in our theatre room that was not hdmi compatible so when the receiver stopped working we had to replace it. When we replaced it the new onky was not compatible with the old projector so we replaced it with this new Epsom tw7100. WHOW what a difference. We are so happy with the new one.

Excellent Images, easy to use.
Installation and setup was very easy. Image is very defined. We previously owned a 6700W enabling us to use WiFi. This model we had to purchase the WiFi transmitter separately. This is a feature that we would like to see included with all models. It is a lot quieter than the 6700w and starts up and shuts down a lot quicker. So we are very happy with our purchase.
