Outstanding at what it aims to accomplishMy Beam is set up in a medium sized room where we sit 4 meters (12 ft) away from it. I have two Sonos Play:1 speakers connected to the system and it works extremely well together to give exceptional sound. The one thing I was worried about was that the bass and lows would be insufficient but with this setup it is quite good. On its own however, the Beam should not be considered as something to consider when playing epic movies with loud lows. It's focus as I think is known and stated by Sonos is on dialog and regular TV watching. Overall, I'm really happy with my setup and would definitely recommend the Beam paired with surround speakers.

SuperbBought a beam to replace an older Sony soundbase. Wife and I amazed at the sound quality difference especially as our hearing isn't as good as it used to be, (I wear hearing aids). Easy to set up and sits unobtrusively beneath the TV. After a couple of weeks bought two One SL's for surround speakers. Wow what a difference when listening (to the right input). Sound from films spreads around the room, football crowds appear to be in the lounge, music is richer and fills the room, even PlayStation games take on a new perspective. All this without wires or cables everywhere and so simple to set up. Cannot recommend a Sonos setup highly enough.

Very Good Product on Most FeaturesI was skeptical about the wireless internet connection versus bluetooth, but I think Sonos made an awesome call with the direction on this product. Easy to install. Good quality sound. The app is a little basic, and I'm not a huge fan on the limited equalizer settings when boasting the speech enhancement feature. Now that could be an issue with some of the content I've watched on it being mixed poorly, but I find myself constantly adjusting the volume and checking the app to make sure the settings haven't changed because video to video it's not performing as good as I had hoped. I am only writing the review because I've been bombarded with about 20 emails since purchase to do so.

Amazing for a medium sized living roomConnected to LG Nano 55inch Arc hdmi.Amazing sound quality. Base/treble and loudness are adjustable on the app and can be set to have a very loud sound with a heavy base.I like the base and treble set at 0 after performing Trueplay for a very balanced output. Voice clarity is amazing and has transformed my listening experience to dialogues in movies and song lyrics. Plays Dolby atoms from Apple TV 4K flawlessly using the arc hdmi (no eArc) from LG TV to Beam2. I was skeptical at first but It's worth the price tag for the quality it delivers. I will try to add two surround speakers but the quality out of beam 2 is so amazing that I don't feel the urge to add them at the moment

Im in love with almost all of my songs products but the beamSo I have the beam the sub and 2 songs ones for my tv surround sound. The Beam arrived and worked great for about a week but then it started giving this horrible feedback sound behind what ever show I was watching. Didn't matter what I put on, movie, Netflix, cable, pandora, everything gives the annoying feedback. The only way I can make it stop is to disconnect the beam from the app/tv and unplug. Replug and connect everything and the system works again. I never had this problem when I just has the surrounds and sub playing music prior to installing the beam. So Ive had the beam for about 1 month and Im not sure what to do about it.

If you haven't tried it, you haven't livedBefore I start the review, as a PSA set the sound settings in HDMI ARC as pass through. Now, to start the review, the moment you start using the soundbar you'll be hit with a very warm feeling sound. Good details and packs a punch. No subwoofer needed. Goes best with music, better than movies. The Atmos sound effect is there provided you're directly infront of it. Due to space constraints, I did not get the Arc but realized I never needed it once I used the Beam. I use it in my living room which is larger than the recommended size set by Sonos for the Beam Gen 2 but the product proved more than capable to project the sound all around. Worth every penny and a very worthwhile purchase.

Good but could be more user friendly in the real worldSounds great and really adds bass and clarity to the room considering it's size. However, annoyingly there is no HDMI pass through so you'll have to sacrifice a port on your TV to get EARC support (which Atmos only supports BTW - it won't run over optical). And the second thing is there is no controller or front panel so changing any settings i.e checking/enabling night mode or even just checking whether Atmos is wing output will require you to unlock your phone, open the app and check manually which gets old rather quickly. Rule of thumb is you should never put your product behind a mobile phone interface. Too many obstacles.

Nice sound at a reasonable priceBass is not very deep, but is crisp. Dialogue is clear as a bell. Fell in love the first time I heard a phone ringing to my left and slightly behind me only to realize it was projected there by the Beam. Best soundbar I have owned; the Bose I replaced with it had deeper bass, but lacked HDMI ARC, so the overall experience was not as good. Also enjoy the Alexa assistant and the fact it is simple to turn off the mics when you don't want to be overheard. May add the sub later, though it is pricey. Con: had to call Sonos as it would not connect to my wifi on initial setup, but tech was very helpful and we had it up in a few tries.
