Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG qled 50 inch TV Bought my new LG qled 50 inch TV at the weekend. Absolutely amazed with the quality of the picture. I'm into gaming and this brings it to another level. Can't recommend this TV enough. Absolutely brilliant. And I'm 67 years young.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great at stuff - disappointed with other stuff. Spent all weekend trying to get an XBox X to work at 4K 120 Frames. The XBOX says it is not supported. Purchased a new certified Ultra HDMI cable. No difference. Searched the web and found lots of people with the problem but nobody with the solution. The LG web site says it handles Dolby Vision. The XBox says not supported. The xBox has all latest patches and the TV says it is also up to date. I am pretty sure that both the TV can do what they say they can do but for whatever reason the can't agree about it. There are other niggles with the software automatically creating viewing accounts with no password and then you cannot edit them as it will not accept a blank password. The channel guid for LG TV acts odd - when hovering over a channel it replaces to channel logo that tells you what the chanel is with text like 'IP 234'. That really is not very helpful. Using the laptop to use the tv as a wifi connected display works first time but is then hit and miss unless you go into settings and delete all connections. The main thing I purchased the TV for is the picture quality, and it is excellent. The sound is pretty good to. The 'magic remote' good. The ThinQ mobile app very useful. So a mixed bag of feelings. Really happy for the main thing i bought it for, really disappointed at the things I would like to do from time to time. it probably all comes down to firmware and software that can get upgraded, but it makes you wonder if they ever tested this thing with real users and real home equipment.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not great unfortunately This was a supposed upgrade from my older LG TV but the picture quality is at best not as good but at worst it looks like its from the 80's. No matter what settings I try the picture looks washed out. I'm very disapointed with it as I generally like LG products, hence the purchase, but after this I'm not sure I would buy again if this is the direction they are going in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing Budget about this Wanted a high quality, easy to use, solid performing TV. And I found it with this model. Some website classify this as a budget edition. In my view, there's nothing budget about it. Granted, like all TVs these days you'll get better audio from a sound bar. But this is a great TV, and worth every penny

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wide angle, Bright space, wall mounted, fast, Perfect TV for wall mounting on a wall by a window in a bright flat. Wide viewing angle, fast refresh rate, great colours. Much faster processor than entry level makes using the OS a breeze. Use the browser for xbox cloud gaming and save it to the homepage to get all gaming features.
