No metal support at the back
Was looking forward to start using this cook top for months and when our new kitchen was finally installed the glass at the back of this cooktop cracked during installation.That's when we found out there is no metal support for a glass at the back,which makes it a weak point.Took Bosch support people a week to come just to tell me that yes the glass is cracked and it was all installer fault which is not covered by the warranty and would be another 3 weeks for a new glass to arrive.Totally disappointed and would never buy Bosch products again.

Didn’t work reliably
Sometimes it seems like too much trouble to get things fixed and in our case we just kept on with this very expensive hob as it got the job done - more or less. But it has steadily got worse and is now unusable. The cooking settings jump all over the place: impossible to select 8.5, 9 or 10 but choose any other setting and the hob jumps up to settin 9 of its own accord. Resulting in many ruined meals.
I strongly recommend looking at alternative brands - those not so obscenely expensive

It's just ok....

Doesn't seem to run as hot as my previous 6 year old induction cooktop from a "cheaper" brand, which Bosch have asked me not to name as it violates the review guidelines. Boost mode seems pretty slow to boil a medium sized pot of water, over 5 mins to come to a rolling boil for pasta. Doesn’t seem to get hot enough for a nice crispy sear on steak. I do like the metal trim edge this cooktop though, seems more protected & looks like a nice finish.

Dangerous product
Really disappointed with this product, terrible value for money and quality, button 7 stopped working 1.5 years in followed by button 3 and the zero button just after 2 years warranty period, pretty dangerous not being able to turn off an individual element with kids about,could only remove pot and hope it would cool down before anyone would touch it, past 3 years more buttons don't work, turns itself off when cooking and now at 5 years the power button doesn't work, brought all the bosch Cookware, appropriate cleaning etc as per specs, treat as a disposable cooktop not a quality item.

easier to use than first thought
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was a little bit worried how i would get my head around using this product but i have to say, i only read the manual once and i think i've got it sorted. love how quickly things heat hup and how it accomodates my large 25cm diameter fry pan. we are waiting on the teppan griddle. very easy to use

Solid induction cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty great cooktop and works very intuitively. The one challenge I face is locating where the cooking area is, when using larger pots and frypans and the like. Sometimes the cooktop tells me its not in the right spot with an annoying beep and its hard to know exactly why and where it should be! However this is a small issue really and only when using large items.

Great Induction Cooktop

Love how it has the power boost function, side trims & it's so much easier to clean.
I do struggle with what other reviewers say about location of cooking area, also if you have the bench space I would recommend going the next size up.(80-90cm)

Easier to use than I expected
