From beginner to steak expert in 1 week[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Superb, have not had a better tasting steak from a restaurant since using this hob, always perfect cooking results especially as i opted to also purchase the large griddle plate, i can cook 3 - 4 fillets at a time that taste perfect every single time, even it cheap supermarket meats.
very flexible hob pan sizes and the rapid heat is just brilliant. I now insist that i cook all steaks myself, wife happier because shes not always having to cook :-)

Bosch Series 8 induction cooktop[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it! Flex cooking is brilliant innovation, and some nice additions are the timers. Works as good as it looks,
amazing. We have Bosch Oven and dishwaser and now the cooktop, a great trio. We will book in to one of the demo classes for betterr understanding of features etc.
My only recommendation would be to include the cleaning and care kit.

Hello, is it possible to install this hob over 60cm wide IKEA unit with an oven in it? Would 2cm worktop be enough?

We wouldn't have specifics of the unit that you machine would be fitting into, however please see the follow image link for information regarding the cut-out and the height of the worktop:

The minimum worktop height is 16mm for this machine, however there can be restrictions for the oven based on the size of the cabinet as per 'C' on the image and also we'd advise checking the oven installation guides.

Hi I want to replace my 70cm Neff gas cooktop with a Bosch induction. My stone cut out is 66cm x 50cm - I can't see cut out specs anywhere - will this fit? Do you do a 70cm model?

Hi Cathy. For this particular model you need a cutout that is 750-780mm (w) x 490-500mm (d). Based on those measurements this model would not fit your current cutout. We are not showing a 70cm Bosch version of this 80cm model. We suggest if possible, to pop into store and our helpful staff in store will be able to show you models that will work with your current cutout. We trust this helps

What is the maximum pan diameter when using the flexplus zones?

There is no maximum pan diameter for the hob, dependent on the pan diameter, there are different areas to place the pan, that will work the most efficient.

I am intending to install this hob over a 600mm drawer unit but there will be a dishwasher and washing machine to each side. Will that be ok?

This should not effect the workings of the hob situated next to it. However, this cannot be installed under the hob. We would advise you speak with your kitchen fitters in regards to this.

Thanks for the links to the instructions. The hob that I’m replacing has a 3 core cable connection which I want to retain but this alternative is not included in these instructions but is in the instructions for hob PXX975KW1E. Can I use that alternative?

I’ve bought the perfect cook wireless sensor. Quite frequently the sensor disconnects from the hob half way through cooking and a error message comes on and then I need to reset the hob. The batteries are new.
