Impressive dish drawer dishwasher
Really love this dishwasher. It has numerous features we have never had with any dishwasher. My partner loves that we can load one drawer while the other washes. She also loves the app that tells her when the load is finished or when the filter needs to be cleaned. It uses far less dish dryer than previous dishwashers we've owned. There are indicator lights that let you know when you need to add more dryer. You have to get used to the buttons, because you just need a light touch to start/ pause etc. Indicator lights let you know which drawer is in use and it is so much quieter than previous dishwashers. We couldn't be happier!

Dissapointed to be honest.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do I like it as much as my last one that I had for 15 years? No. A kitchen renovation prompted a new purchase (I wanted to use my old one) however, the casing had rusted on the outside (ages ago) but did not want to run the risk of a flood in my new kitchen so a new one was purchased. For starters, the drawers are not where as big as my first double drawer model. I find the control buttons user unfriendly, unlike before. Was really hoping it was going to be the same as what I had had but it's not, not even close. My old model was still going strong btw, 15 years!

MY WONDERFUL FRIEND IN THE KITCHEN
I am so happy to have the Double DishDrawer Dishwasher as I have never had any dishwasher in my 81 years. My husband was able to help with washing dishes up until this year, so I decided I needed to have a dishwasher. I find that it saves me so much time in the kitchen and I can get other house work done. The double drawer is an excellent set up for just 2 people (or one) as as soon as one drawer is full it can be washed and I can start stacking the other drawer. Also it doesn't take so long to empty 1 drawer when necessary. The water saving is also a bonus when you have to save water.

Not so easy to operate, even with instructions!
We had the Double DishDrawer at our previous house, and wanted it again, but find that with only controls on the top drawer to work both drawers it is difficult to work out how to use. The instructions didn't come with the unit, so we had to go back to the point of sale and get them to print them out for us. We worked out how to use the lower drawer on its own but the instructions don't say how to use both drawers at the same time. I have read through the instructions and Googled, to no avail, and haven't been able to find a phone number for Fisher & Paykel to speak to someone direct.

Not built like they used to be!
I purchased this model to replace my 18 year old F&P dishdraw as it was starting to wear out. The new model is not as user friendly as the old one. The wash cycles are much longer and you need to select 'dry' for the washer to dry the dishes in a cycle. To do a medium wash/dry cycle takes 145 minutes whereas my old model would do it in 45 minutes. The outer casing is quite flimsy and the kick bar is just a piece of plastic. I love the concept of the dishdraw but the new model has been nothing but disappointing. I am looking to replace this new dishwasher already. All my household appliances are Fisher and Paykel as I love the brand however this has really turned me off future purchases of this brand.

Good product that performs as advertised
This is my second double dish drawer replacing one I had owned for more than 15 years. The new one has updated features and does a good job. I was previously a 43 minute eco cycle user, I have had to update to the 60 minute cycle but get a better clean. Moveable cup racks are a new feature. Personally I have always purchased crockery to fit so this is not that useful to me. The rods that allow adjustment mean some larger items need to be carefully placed to fit on the top shelf but this is minor. Overall a good product that performs as advertised.

Disappointing
Have had the dishwasher for 7 years, my second 2 drawer dw. The previous one was much better. The plate rack has broken in both drawers and is held together with zip ties. The rinse aid holders in both drawers are full of water. The filters are a nightmare to clean. The rubbers under the steel filter and the rotor have perished and blocked the drains on several occasions. You would expect a better product for the price. Probably won’t choose LG again. To replace all these parts would cost as much as a new one and should last more than 7 years.

Double Drawer Dishwasher
We purchased the double drawer dishwasher about 4 weeks ago as we wanted a dishwasher that had the flexibility to do smaller loads and was big enough to do full loads of dishes, The dishwasher is great at cleaning dishes and the 1hr wash is awesome. The only problem I have is when someone leans against the controls it changes and we need to reset our preferred cycle. The controls can be locked but this is again something that will need to be unlocked to start the machine. Other than this we are very happy with our purchase.
